You don't know that for sure. I've had form responses not come to me for a week from sites I was running even. It depends on the program it is running on.

 		What I find weird is that if you email them now, you do get the response very quickly, but people that emailed them a week ago didn't get a response until all of the sudden yesterday. The first 2 reports I saw on reddit were within minutes of each other. Of course we don't know what's going on for sure, but to me it feels like someone activated something somewhere.

My thoughts exactly. It's like someone dusted off the old Tagruato website and is about to get back to work?

Guys...is it just me going insane or did they update the Tagruato site to remove the black sword icon? This must be coming back.

EDIT: Slusho and TIDO still have the sword icons but tagruato doesn't. Something definitely is happening because the site had it before, right? Wayback machine is showing the sword icon was there in November of 2015. Someone has updated the site for sure. oh god, I hope we are going back to this!!!!!

The cache shows that it was gone yesterday as well (s/o to the reddit user who thought to check the google cache unlike me, because i'm a dummy)

so we should be seeing updates soon, right? there's no other reason for them to take that off if they didn't want to continue the game.

The privacy, sitemap, and help links in the footer are broken/circle back to the homepage. I'll keep an eye on those to see if anything is added. in the meantime, let's hope these emails pan out into something

Something will happen.

The sword sign appeared on the IG websites after Cloverfield ARG was over/collapsed/stopped. Perhaps this sign was like a seal while of an inactivity?

META. Perhaps they noticed how we are starving after an ARG and begin an unplanned project? /Hope

 		Something bothers me. They've had a year for this movie to sit on a shelf waiting for the right moment to drop it in our laps.

A year to plan an arg - if there was going to be one.

If I were a game developer or a publicity manager I would be in HEAVEN. A year to plan, two scant months to launch? That's the perfect timeline! Enough time to plan everything out, plan for every eventuality, have every moment of those two months packed with small puzzles and events leading up to the big day.

As soon as the trailer launched I'd hit the go button that set everything off in a really clear manner - so at least initially - no one's confused about what's going on and there's a big player base right off the bat. Then maybe I'd get more byzantine after that.

What we are seeing is... Not that. It seems more reactive than anything. It feels like... instead of playing along we're getting played.

Like they're just giving us what we want now. Maybe so we stop driving ourselves - and them - crazy digging into the IRL making of this movie.

One of two things could be happening. One, we got a n00b transmedia dude and everything kinda went screwed up...or two, it's supposed to be a very short, intense ARG. I've played both long and short. I adore the long ones. It gets you into the game more. I invested ALOT of time into Cloverfield 1 and Flynn Lives. But short ones can be fun if done right
