Finally got the email back.

"So this isn't a joke.

I looked into Janitor OS 9's channel and pastebin, and it's told you more than you should probably know. If you share what I'm about to tell you with the wrong people, we'll both need lawyers:

There were only 7 Janitor OSs.
There were 20 Oracles.
The facility's shutdown was caused directly by the Oracles' discoveries.
I was fired for trying to release their discoveries to the public.
Most of the former Sigil employees now work in the private defense sector.
Sigil's former lab was located just north of New York City before it was gutted and demolished.
I buried a thumb drive near the lab in 2008 to preserve information about the facility and its operations.

That's all I'm willing to tell you. You're gonna have to find out the rest on your own".

So, I guess the next logical step would be to go to the location of the thumb drive. I've been doing some research of buildings demolished in 2008 and found only one possible match. The Concord Resort Hotel near Kiamesha Lake, NY. It was just north of NYC and the ground is suitable for digging. If someone living near there could check it out, that would be great.

One thing that's bothering me is what's the importance of "Most of the former Sigil employees now work in the private sector." It seems like it would be important is some way, either to this puzzle or to a future one.

In terms of the Concord Resort Hotel connection, it seems the most likely, though it seems our current issue is locating where it is on the grounds and finding somebody who can go out to recover it. It also seems another construction project is underway nearby.

Today's search hasn't turned up anything substantive. We may be playing the waiting game for a while.

The Janitor OS 9 youtube account updated. We now have a set of coordinates. It's probably the flash drive.

EDIT: Went back and looked at the google plus account for Janitor OS 9. The profile image had changed. After manually copying it into a binary translator I came up with "Start searching." We may be on a time crunch to check these locations.

I made an imgur album with screenshots of the locations, just for the record. The first set of coordinates leads to 46 Market St. in Coldspring, NY. A bit more north than the hotel. The second set of the coordinates actually leads to the hotel street. In the screenie it's the one marked with 182. The third set of coordinates leads to a tiny island and a tinier street on it. I figure while we wait for someone to retrieve whatever's at the coordinates it would be a good time for some theorizing. From what we know so far from the documents I think it's fair to say Sigil was some sort of government facility. The frequency Oracles 1 and 2 were using to communicate is a government frequency. The project was also probably meant to be weaponized, given the line from the email regarding most of the former Sigil employees now working in private defense. The line about the Oracles being fear machines as well as the communications between Oracles 1 and 2 suggest the project had something to do with fear and their findings leading to the shutdown of the facility suggests something was released. Whatever was released may be what are referred to in the log about being able to spot them in crowds.

If any of you have something to add to this, feel free. If anyone following this knows how to get in contact with someone who may be able to move this forward, now is the time to shout from the mountaintops.
