I think that the main reason why we've all lost interest is because it started to ramp up right before the christmas / new-years break. So over the past 2 months they wouldn't have done all that much, and I feel like this is an entry (Broadcast?) that they've put together so that we have something, and know it isn't dead.

The next one, I assume, will come out in a few weeks, and will hopefully be a lot longer and a lot more substantial. I'm surprised they didn't do stuff on the website over the christmas break. But maybe they did and we just stopped looking.

I suppose that it could be related...? But I've just watched the first video and I don't think that it would be in TTA's style to show a face. Or TTA equivalent.

I dunno. I'm just not sure if this "awake" is directly related with Clear Lakes. Maybe if we get some of the Unfiction Genius' to work on some of the awake puzzles, we could get some more solid evidence for or against it?

MH used to link to TTA in a similar way, so I'm not entirely sure if they're connected. Although... IG that was because Jay knew about TTA, maybe our new protagonist doesnt know about awake? I'm just thinking out loud at the moment.

The awake/sleep channel transparently isn't anything to do with CL44 beyond a cheap attempt at a gamejack. The production quality is nowhere near even the standards of, say, mid-season 1 Marble Hornets, let alone the heights that THAC have reached since then, and it's literally never shown us anything CL44-significant before it turned up in an official broadcast.
