Librarin RE: Sarah Wyatt, plus books knocked over

Dear bgardner:
Good to hear from you again. I'm sorry you and your family won't be able to attend our Summer Reading Challenge event this Saturday. It looks like it's going to be a wonderful time. Now if we can only get the weather to participate! We've had one nasty weekend after another lately, and even though the large majority of the event will take place inside the Library building, it would be nice to be able to do the few outside activities we have planned as well. I guess we'll keep our fingers crossed.

I was able to correspond briefly with Mr. Brahm about his earlier work on the Sarah Wyatt story and he declined the opportunity to communicate directly with you about her, claiming he didn't really have much additional information to share with you or anyone else. He did, however, mention to me that during his research for his earlier article, he came across someone on the web who seemed to have knowledge of Sarah
and her art. He is going to find the e-mail address or whatever else he has and send it to me, if possible.

My son, Pat, wasn't much more help in regards to Sarah, either. He does of course remember her from her time here in Aglaura but he never associated with her or had much interest in art in any form. Sorry that isn't much help. Oh my I have to go. It seems some of our bookcases somehow got shaken or partially tipped over sometimelast night and we have a lot of books to put back in order on our shelves. It's avery strange thing actually, because we didn't have any earth tremors or unusual
ground activity recently that I'm aware of, and I don't know of anyone who "felt" anything last night. But when we came in this morning, there were books everywhere in certain areas! I guess
we'll just chalk it up to the strange things going on around here lately.

I've sent a reply asking for details. I'll let you know what she says.
