I haven't assumed they were divorced at Megan's 13th - just that they might have been. We don't know when they separated, just that they did. I was just building a narrative to help along my "mind palace" as it were, and in the narrative I was building it made sense.

Howard keeping secrets could be the reason his wife split up with him as likely as it is something he did after the split.

I've just noticed it's a common trope for the divorced Dad who secretly spoils his kids. The reasoning usually being that he doesn't get to spend much time with them so he wants the time they do spend together to be special. "Don't tell your mother." The mom with custody usually hates this because she has to be the realistic disciplinarian. It's not necessarily what's happening here, but given what we do know it fits nicely. And I've seen it happen way too many times. It's cliche.

It seems with the type of character they're painting for Howard, his gift would be something deliberately unrelated to anything to keep it secret or something for survival. Probably both. I'm assuming it would be on the FAPT page in some puzzle form, but maybe that's exactly why it wouldn't be there. Maybe there wasn't an answer in the code because there's another piece we're missing or it's not been revealed yet?

It feels as though we may have caught up to where they wanted us to be after 3 weeks since the announcement/trailer.. Granted things will hopefully move along faster than the past due to the short lead time.. But it sure is great to have any game again..

Looked at TIDO wave, Le Bandid Vert and Les Guerres de Mere-Terre but no changes so far...(xcept Tidowave web site is still active)

Its cool that they expected those from the first ARG to still have the bookmarks 8 years on to email them and get a prepared response.. Now to see whaer Swamp Pops puzzle pieces fit in.. Neat!

I keep going back to the Eiffel tower picture on FaPT since the tower plays such a large part in the trailer. I also think this is not a picture of a tower in a specific location but is a smaller (assumption on it being small) representation photographed in front of the mountain background, looking at the picture after converting to gray scale and lighten it up some the tower appears to be sitting on top of something (looks globe shaped) and that there is a star emblem with bodies laying around it...? what do you all see?
