#1 Deceive?

#2 Mother's interference? It's almost the same word in german and for me it more sounds like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interference_(wave_propagation)

And i don't really thing that we're talking about "Mother" in terms of her physical mother.. more "Mother" in terms of maybe military watching?

I think you may be reading into it a bit much, I believe the deception was the splash page {fun and pretty things}. I believe he really is talking to his daughter about her mother, i don't believe any other mentions of the mother in the letter can be interpreted any other way {for example, why would the military complain about shelter or why would he decorate it for her?}

If he has information not meant for the public (he mentions knowing this day would come) those in charge wouldn't want anything getting out. By secretly building the bunkers and trying to save her, he risks having the secret revealed. Think any movie where someone knows the end is coming and has to tell their loved ones, even if it is verboten.

Preppers (he's built two bunkers. He's a prepper) always "know" this day will come.

Just to prove that I am still getting the weird static glitch on Howard's picture, this is what the Employee page looks like for me.

So weird, I haven't been able to recreate that yet... oh well.

I'm not sure why you quoted me, or what you were answering, because my only question was retorically asking why the military would complain about the shelter or about how he chooses to decorate said shelter, as an example of how "military" doesn't fit for substitution there.

He was involved with Tag and satellites. Tag didn't like outsiders knowing what was going on, if I remember.

When I first went to the site, Howard's picture was over both the bold future and Parifun spots. There's been enough inconsistencies in that spot for suspicion, but I wonder if it was just to draw our attention to the radioman site. It's easy to forget that just because we found stuff, there are still people that will be playing through it after us so the trail has to remain intact. Especially after the trailer getting such a high profile spot on the most watched thing on TV every year. There will certainly be new players.

...unless of course there's something in that static.

EDIT: Has anyone thought to analyze and fiddle with the audio of that suspect roar/scream? I may can do it tomorrow evening, but I won't be equipped to do so until then.

The three things that I'm trying to figure out from the trailer are:

1:

Full size here: http://www.jamieism.com/10CL/tr1.jpg

What are the numbers on her license plate? This was the clearest frame from the trailer that I could find.

A closeup:

It looks to me like the first 3 are SCH....

2:

Full size here: http://www.jamieism.com/10CL/tr2.jpg

What does the sign in the background say? It may just be a generic "country-looking" sign, but then why does it stand out so much in this shot? It feels like it *might* be significant. Thoughts?

Here's a closeup:

The first word starts with a clear D, and the second a C, and it looks like maybe the bottom says "Take it Leave it."

3:

His shirt. This scene was in the first trailer too, but I don't remember anyone actually tracking this down.

Here's a closeup:

We all know how significant shirts can be in this game, so this is a big focus for me right now. Laughing

And the 'secret map' on the back of said flag will only be visible with a black-light lamp...

Okay, I found this sign:

It's not the same sign, but I think they say the same thing, EXCEPT that in the trailer, the "Dinner" part of the sign is weirdly shaped. Think this could be significant/mean that it says something else?

1: I'm not sure, SCH seems good... the end looks like NJ8 or N08...maybe the 8 is a B.

2: Dinner Options - 1. Take It 2. Leave It

3: I actually googled the Hell out of this shirt today. I've come up with "The G....." I thought 3 wolf moon, but it looks like it could be for a camping site or something.

1. I'm assuming the license plate within the movie will not be a clue to anything.

2. My first take of it while watching it on my TV was that is says "D... Chateau" and "Take II | Leave II" but I do think "Take it / Leave it" makes more sense? Can't resolve the name of the place. OK, "Dinner Choices", you win.

3. I tried searching for a similar design last week but came up empty. My guess is that it says something generic like "The Great Outdoors" but i look forward to finding out that this T-shirt is the key to everything. (Glad this has been settled below.)

I can't help on everything but I can help with this:

EDIT: oops i see others got there too. Well, I just want to go on the record saying that Howard is a lousy decorator.

No, no they didn't. They certainly seemed willing to kill to keep secrets.

That's right, and it'll lead to all the guns, gold, and grub you could ever want. (if legends are true). Laughing Wink

Sign says
Dinner Choices: 1.Take it 2. Leave it
This has been noticed & stated multiple times now.

Way back when this started I thought the shirt seemed like something too but it turned out it's a recent generic shirt from old navy that says "the great outdoors"
