Ok, so this is probably nothing and I'm having White Mountain Puzzles flashbacks so don't get too excited, but last night when I was looking back at links to John Gallagher's shirt I clicked on Old Navy's graphic mens tees page.

Interestingly, while his shirt was sold out a year ago, there are other shirts that say variations on "the great outdoors."

There are also a whole bunch of Star Wars t-shirts. So that's something on it's own (not necessarily a Bad Robot connection, but definitely proof that they work with studios on licensing).

This one caught my eye, so I decided to check it this morning:

Apparently Camp Savage is WWII military intelligence camp that taught military members Japanese. So... That's kinda odd to have on a t-shirt.

It actually *says* great outdoors on it, and it has a weird floating Japanese flag, and a bunch of other ominous looking stuff.

I clicked on the womens T-shirts just out of curiosity, and while theres no eiffel tower, they are ALL in french right now. There's also one that says "Ce Reve" whis is a bit obscure for a generic phrase for an anglophone t-shirt. It translates to "that dream" and "Ce Reve Blue" is, get this, the translation title of "A Whole New World" from Aladdin.

Right before this whole thing started Dan Trachtenberg posted a picture of himself doing a jigsaw puzzle on his insagram. The caption? A whole new world. It was an Aladdin puzzle.

I would say a paranoid prepper (especially one who was just validated and who probably has people after him) like him would probably not have have a Twitter account, or at least a useful one. I'm going with the whole "not IG" theory here.

as for the old navy shirt - I think we may be stretching again, just like the jigsaw puzzles. Although, since we are at another stale end, I don't know what else to do myself.

This "ARG" is certainly feeling more like immersive fiction, and for only having 2 months from start to finish - they sure are moving slow as molasses. not to mention they keep breaking curtain to tell us "yep, there's an ARG"

Count me as another poster coming back here for the first time since the original CF ARG and Flynn Lives. Can't seem to find my original account, though.

Anyways, after following 10CFL's ARG and watching the SB commercial a few times, I'm left with two inpressions.

1) Is there significance to the glow rising up from behind, or inside, the house? Aside from it being a cool and ominous shot, I'm wondering if whatever it is is emerging from the bunker itself? I've seen no confirmation of the bunker's location relative to the house, but I would think it would be behind it.

I'm not saying I prescribe to the "JG mutating" hypothesis, but clearly MEW is wearing a damaged and hastily repaired hazmat suit when she's shown running away without damage. I'm getting the vibe that whatever encounter lead to that damage seems to be leading her back to the safety of the bunker. I'm wondering if the fire she apparently set in order to escape reacted with contents of the mysterious blue barrel?

2) This film seems to be much more directly tied to the original CF ARG than CF was. While I find it interesting, and certainly the continuation of the story is long overdue. I can't but help wonder if retrofitting "the Cellar" to be a "blood relative" of an 8 year-old monster flick is the way to go. While CF was commercially successful, it was also very polarizing; people either loved it or hated it. Are people going to go in with (or worse yet, stay home because of) preconceived notions of what it will bc of the CF name?

So the more than likely hoaxy/fake Twitter account for Howard made me try to find Megan on Twitter and then tumblr, nothing came up, then I tried seeing if maybe Howard had something....... Found this trying the obvious: https://radioman70.tumblr.com

So the first post is from back in November 2015 and is the Effiel tower picture from funandprettythings. The rest of the posts are things from The original ARG (chaui station under water photos and I believe the typed version of the radio transmission/communication).

I've never had a tumblr account but have used the site before. I'm pretty sure you can't change the date of posts however I know you can edit previous posts and change your url. Can someone who has used tumblr more weigh in on if this is possibly faked or not? I find it weird that he'd use his employee of the month photo as his profile photo but if I'm not mistaken all of the posts predate our findings (specifically the effiel tower photo in Nov. 2015 and posting of the link for Funandprettythings on January 10 2016).

Yeah, didn't realize you could back date either wyokid. Oh well, I was hoping I found something thanks for debunking it at least guys.

My money is on Megan having some kind of online presence (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram) where she possibly posted old photos and things from her past birthdays which may clue us in on what to answer, if she is still alive at this point. Some of the trailer stuff is leading me to believe Howard has lost her already though, so I don't know at this point >.<

Hi there, Cloverfield family!

After 2 weeks lurking and 10 days trying to get my account activated, I am finally part of the community!

I am completely new to the ARG world, but it is in my nature to play games and solve puzzles, so I will try to help as much as I can!

I just wanted to stop by and say a few things:

1. Thank you for this great forum. I am in love.

2. I am Spanish, and a few days ago I finally got to watch the Spanish trailer. JG says to MEW "YOU are going to get us all killed" (just wanted to confirm that).

3. What caught my attention the most is that in Spanish he says "Están llegando", which translates to "They are arriving/coming". I wrote on reddit (sorry, my account would not get activated and I went there. I know... ) that in Spanish, when we say THEY, we know it is a plural entity, not an "IT" or "Something" like in the English version "Something is coming". And when we say "llegando" it is because either:

a) We were waiting.
b) We are afraid and whatthehell they are already here, run for your lives...

I know this is nothing mega important, but it was very interesting for me, since it kind of confirmed (for me) that the sound and "earthquakes" outside have to be either human (read: police, the military, etc.) or the parasites.

Once again, thank you for opening my eyes to this fantastic world and long live Clovie!

PS. I have been reading the thread and I am really afraid of Pixiestix
