Thiiiiiis is why I was searching for social media accounts - Megan *knows* what the present was - we don't. Why code a complex message giving her the password, if she already knows what it is? It would just allow total strangers to hack into Howard's secret site - which we already know from the message in the HTML he's paranoid about (just seems like a paranoid guy in general).

But if she has a social media account somewhere (like the OG ARG characters had MySpace accounts) we might be able to find out more about her, and maybe even find some pictures of her thirteenth birthday. Or find her email address, as Howard explicitly mentions her having one.

I seaaaarched through Etsy & didn't find much fyi. But I'm a bit hamstringed by being in Canada, yet again. The search function makes some odd choices knowing you're not in the US. I forgot how much I hated Etsy's search functionality (or lack thereof). May have found Dan Trachtenberg's Etsy account though. Signed up shortly before production started. Nothing interesting other than that.

I think you may be on the right way, people.
The special messages are shimmering between the lines of this letter. Words like "decieve", "interference", "confidence" seem to be the parts of a hidden letter in this hidden letter (as already was mentioned here previously).

Perhaps the "void"-link won't lead to another page, perhaps it's just a sign: here is another page hidden (?). Just a wild speculation.

So another weirdo thought came to me -- Could the punctuation be Morse Code in the paragraphs in the FAPT letter to Megan?

He's a Radioman after all. Most of his sentences end with a period, and a few of them have hyphens where commas would do, or even semicolons.
