Just because it was filmed in New Orleans does not mean it takes place there as well.. many Hollywood productions were moved to that area over the last few years.. My brother is a special fx set designer and has had to fly there twice in the last few years for miniature modeling in a few big flicks. Its done for cheaper production costs..


That's awesome your brother is in the special effects industry. They are filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in Louisiana right now and much of Jurassic World was filmed there (An old NASA Hangar and the Parking Lot of the abandoned Six Flags as well). There is a huge incentive for studios down there.

 		Upon further investigation, the 5742 number seems to be the model # associated with Trumpeter who has a model of the SS New Orleans in their catalog.. One would order this specific model using that number. Now why its been added to the trailer is yet to be discovered..

I have a customer who runs a CGI studio and they have one studio/office in California but the bulk of the work is done in their Louisiana studio.

Much like BC, Michigan, Alberta, New Mexico, etc. there are huge tax advantages in these states. Louisiana has been particularly aggressive.

Apparently it's a single frame that flashes before the rest of the Super Bowl trailer plays. He responded in a thread in the r/10cloverfieldln sub saying that this was the clearest frame and the only difference he noticed.

If you look closely there is a hand written number "5742" circled next to the picture of the ship.

When I posted the note about 4 sequence numbers this morning, I did say "Don't dive head deep yet, trailer not really confirmed"

We have one user on reddit for this one but seeing a sequence of 4 I thought it made some sense to note it for possible weekend 4 trailer notations.

 		Thanks I missed that obviously.

So yea I hope we get other reports from the trailer in theaters to confirm this (and that this same trailer is released online because I haven't seen any such flashes myself). I can't really see the numbers myself in that picture, but I accept that others can see them.

Adjusting the image makes them pretty clear, though the 5 is a bit tough to read, I can't imagine it would be anything other than a 5.

 		4 digits could be a lot of things. But given that we know one of those numbers is an room # at Tagruato is it possible they are extensions (Big buildings often use room numbers for extensions)? The Tagruato phone number is the only legit number we have right now. Maybe they'll turn it back on soon?

I also want to say, for the record that I think we're still ultimately looking for Megan's social media profile. The fact that they took photos of her on set just confirms this for me.

Proving the ET picture was taken in LA was just a continuation of a side track other people was on, and to be honest the most likely theory for it is it just means the puppet masters are in LA and they put the prop in the window to get some light for the photo. Or they stole it like the other one.

But I kept searching & theorizing beyond that because *shrug* not much has made sense so far, there are no clear paths here so far. It's all kind of a mess.

 		I think, at least to my eye, it seems that the circle around 5742 does appear to be big enough to potentially include another digit or two (or three?) ahead of the 5742 bit and still look balanced.

But yes, I think the time of the chat log could be considered the third four digit number and this the fourth.

In that case, chronologically:

4813
4232
0158
5742

Other notable numbers:
70 (from Radioman shirt)
4 (background of Dr. Huang's employee picture)
550 (puzzle pieces in Cat Fish puzzle)

Any I'm missing?

I'm not picking up a pattern on the four four-digit numbers. Anybody else see anything?

 		Excuse the double post, but I just received a response to my most recent email to 18kagashimadSPLATtagruato.jp. I specifically called out a request for a contact email for Bold Futura employees who I could ask questions to about satellite communication.

I received the same response from the last wave. I don't notice a difference.

 		this new gen ARG is weird man. We got 100% confirmation that megan is a character appearing in the movie (even if its only a picture) which makes FAPT 100% IG (whatever, i know ya'll accept anything and everything as IG now) and everyones more worried about a sequence of numbers that ISNT confirmed IG yet. lol WHY ARE YALL SO WEIRD?! I LOVE ALL OF YOU THOUGH

In my opinion there was never any doubt that FAPT was IG, so "proving" that it is wasn't news.

While this frame is not confirmed yet, it was posted by somebody to r/movies, not even directly to the ARG subreddit on reddit, so if they're trying to gamejack they certainly aren't going about it that obviously, and we'll know soon enough if it is a gamejack. But given that we've been bone dry on leads since last Wednesday, this is a development that seems legit to me and is worth pursuing until otherwise noted. I could be wrong, but it's not like we're being fed other clues to work on.

I've been one of the biggest IG skeptics on this ARG so far, I was adamant that Swamp Pop was not and is not IG. This feels legit to me, take it for what you will.
