I feel like the Howard Stambler Twitter account might be legit. "He" posted a recipe for Spaghetti Salad yesterday, and it looks like the cast was eating that in the first trailer.

Am I overthinking?

Skepticism says no, if there was a spaghetti and salad recipe that was posted on a date before the first trailer dropped then it makes a good reason to believe it is, now anyone could create and post a recipe for salad and spaghetti given that info is out there

I have a hard time believing any egg is a legit promotional account of ANY kind.

That's where the numbers '4813' and '4767' might link together...as I posited earlier in the thread, if Tag/Bold Futura employees are numbered sequentially, there's a very good chance Howard might know '4767'...and he might've heard Atsumi die a horrible, screaming death (as the transcript indicates), as well.

It seems a logical conclusion...at this point, anyways. Smile

Aaaaaaand... we have an anagram, guys!

funandprettythings.com --> Hunt to find Megans crypt.

Could this just be a coincidence?

Most unstructured anagrams yield many coincidental phrases. The more letters you start with, the more things you can spell out.

bad example: SCOTTY, HUNT MEGAN, FIND PR.

I much prefer begin given an indication that it really was an intentional anagram, and even better would be a railfence or column transposition or skip cipher or some other methodical way to extract the proper order. Otherwise, we're just playing Scrabble.

I like this idea, especially in context with the 4232 from Sarah Foster's Bold Futura office door. My quibble with this theory is that Sarah Foster has only been with Bold Futura for two years, and Howard for seven. If we're presuming that these are employee ID numbers, and we presume their assigned chronologically, then that doesn't make sense. It could just be office numbers and/or phone extensions.

Honestly, at this point I think we're just spectating and we'll notice if a piece of information (like the Radioman shirt) is obviously pointing us to a next step.

I was looking at this way...

'4767' - Sub Operator
'4813' - Telemetry Analyst
'4232' - Electrical Systems Engineer

It's the 'jobs' that have the numbers, not the people themselves - as Tag has already alluded to...'people are replaceable'.

4767 Number

Is this number coming from the horrible resolution transcript? Did I miss where this was was defined to be IG? I thought it was from a generally thought of gamejack? Please enlighten me, I'm sorry I missed been reading from the beginning, every page, every day, but guess I missed something and apologize for that.

If I am right we need to start delineating, well defined IG, and still questionable IG/gamejack sources on all these theories

Orrrrr I've suggested this before but interoffice extension numbers, since we do have a phone number.

Which would mean all these people are on the same floor at Tagruato.

But I dunno. It doesn't make much sense for Howard to make any kind of business related number also the number of his favorite jukbox entry.

Then again, it also doesn't make sense for the trailer to call attention to it if it isn't something. Eventually.

They/We tried entering those numbers in the phone-directory for Tag, waaaay back...

"I just tried calling Tagruato and entering in the 4707 or 4767 as a mailbox number for the hotline, but it didn't work. After a few tries, it switched from a japanese woman to an Australian woman that just kept saying INVALID ENTRY. so i dont freakin know man.

Since I'm seeing Deadpool this weekend I was thinking isn't it awesome that TJ Miller has gotten so many roles since Cloverfield? He kind of skyrocketed after Cloverfield.

Now that this has launched faster than a Rocketpoppeteer do any of you guys use twitter? The Cloverfield ARG days were some of the best times with some of the coolest people on Unforums. if any of you do I'm at twitter.com/TeleCineBlog. I never thought we'd be back here. 500 Rads was a bust and Super 8 didn't really compare to Cloverfield, but here we are!
