I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude! Nor was I suggesting we move the discussion. Some folks from unfiction check up on reddit and vice versa, but the current reddit situation was a bit cluttered. Figured I'd give those who do decide to check out reddit a cleaner place to check. I do plan on being active in both places, so yeah.

Sorry if I came across as rude. I don't want to compete with anyone. We're all on the same page (and the subreddit would keep the civility) and playing the same game. No need for any flamewars over which platform is used. Again, we have a Discord server that has folks from both reddit and unfiction, so anyone is free to join.

Seriously though, the reality is that I literally hate 99% of the way the main subreddit has been handling the ARG, but they have a much larger group of players and are tracking down information that we don't have here yet. From a pragmatic perspective it's just not realistic to ignore what they're doing over there when they have screen caps that we don't have.

While I don't really participate in discussion over there because I'd much rather post with you fine folks for a variety of reasons, almost all of which related to the average intelligence of what happens here in comparison.

And also because nobody in the subreddit is capable of filtering their own internal monologue for posting value. I can't handle threads that read something like "POSSIBLE SOLUTION" as title and then the main post is "Has anyone thought that because Howard was in the Navy that maybe the answer to the second password is something Navy related?!?!!?"

I love uf for my ARG discussion, even when I'm just lurking along (Star Trek, Elsewhere, Cloverfield) but it's hard to ignore the manpower advantage that Reddit has when it comes to getting things like the pics of the new trailer image flashes.

 		Me too. I'm not a fan of Reddit for this, mainly because they're too trigger-happy, too cluttered, and there's just a lot of... uh... how to put this delicately? Stupidity... happening there.

But even I was checking Reddit last night to see if the Regal trailer pic had been posted. I thought that I'd seen something like a Newspaper as well, and wanted a better look, and nothing was being posted here. I felt like a traitor, though.

I am a Reddit fan, I agree that with the shear amount of heads in the room the finds will be noted faster. I don't know why there is so much cross hate,, SAME TEAM GUYS SAME TEAM!!

Shit I love me some reddit, where else can you see cute cat pics, feel hope for humanity in one story, feel disgust for humanity in the next video and see the most absolutely disgusting nasty porn that none of you should ever see.. trust me Ive watched them all .. err...I mean gross what crazy sicko would watch all those..*Applies eye drops*

I for one am reading and chatting here and scanning over there..we are all in this ride together

Obviously even with our random lapses us old school'ers still come back here with hugs and pats and will for many years!

 		Is there a Cloverfield Clues blog, but for Super 8? I went through CC after the trailer for 10CL came out and it got me all nostalgic. Wondering if there was something that detailed and complete for Super 8 too.

 		Hrm so we have a navy/survival theme, mostly:

Tag from US Navy survival gear
Survival maneuver with pants
Sailor(navy?) monkey (great pic showing "9"s)
On Deck navy magazine (5742)

And then there's the football team photo, which seems like an outlier unless there's details in there we cannot make out.

And there's also the various numbers.


I dunno at this point.
