Looks like the MFG date from trailer is also MAR?
Serial Number on trailer bottom maybe a 4 digit again?..Hummmmmmm?? Foily!

Yep, I was thinking the same thing! Co-ordinates, definitely!

Not so Crazy theory: we have an order for the trailers on the trailer list 1a-1e
Put the numbers from each frame in order around the 9, -9 (which is the midway point of the coordinates I assume) and I think we'll have something.

Of course we need clearer images of a couple of these still.

 		Lol During the trailers as I was screenshotting the video because I saw the flash of a monkey, I put in the coordinates in googlemaps, I immediately thought coorindates, but on what?

 		This survival gear tag is an awesome find. On the issue date where it's "MA(smudge)", I immediately thought "May 23".

This might be a dumb question, but is there a wiki or something somewhere to keep track of all of this? Seems like there should be an easier way to keep track of numbers and such without trudging back through the thread.

 		I'm thinking that we may not progress much more until we can get clearer images of these flashes from the trailers. The monkey image is fantastic - the others not so much. I'm hoping that these will be released online as well, probably after the weekend.

 		Ok! I read back through things and realized we might be missing something.

Apparently some people who saw the AMC floatation pants image swear there was a number on the top of the image, not in the original booklet.

I'm seeing conflicting reports, but seems to say either 27,28,29

Something like

27.1509, -96.85742

Would put us in the Gulf of Mexico right off of Corpus Christie AKA OIL RIG LAND.

Bingo. Now we're getting somewhere!

Would be nice to get a confirmation of that number in the image though! Other possibilities with 28 & 29 are also viable as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure if you looked at the image editing they did to pull those numbers out but let's just say I'm not convinced. Maybe it was different to the naked eye in the theater but from the images posted I don't think so.

Seems to me the Diagram number was found via googling the Life Preserver image, and I would guess that is more correct, but agree that it would be out of line for it to be found via google and not IN the image like the other numbers are.

EDIT: You know what? I went and looked at it again and maybe it's a different edit, but in that edited version I pretty clearly see a 28. It's incredibly faint. I don't see 29 at all, I see how people could get to 27 but I'm pretty sure it's a 28 if we think that is the number we're supposed to lift, as opposed to the diagram number from reverse image search.

SECOND EDIT: YOU ALSO KNOW WHAT?! I went and looked again, and actually looking to the right of the box everyone is focusing on in this link: http://i.imgur.com/CRF6ldq.jpg I see a 29. About 1/3 of a box length to the right of the box in the image. So I currently see a 28 and 29.

29.57429,-90.1268 lands in Louisiana, but it's the ass-end of nowhere by the looks of it, so probably not very viable either. At this point I'm just randomly smashing the numbers together, and it's not being very productive. We really need a better picture of the waterpants slide, at any rate.

Yeah, they flash by really fast, I don't even think you could glean much information unless you happened to be recording it.

I don't know -- give that this image is the only one that, as far as I can tell, is actually findable independently via reverse image search, it is possible that "15" is the right number for this one. I look at that highlighted image and I honestly cannot see any other numbers 27 28 or 29 nothing.
