It's actually not paranoid at all to have a bug out bag ready (although I don't, oops) not just because of unlikely paranoid scenarios like nuclear holocaust or zombie uprising.

If you live in a flood plain, hurricane, tornado, earthquake or tsunami prone area, near a nuclear power plant, or just someplace that gets cold and stormy in the winter (or even in case of a fire) your local government probably already reccomends it, and even has plans on how to make a good one.

It's really, truly, the least crazy thing Howard talked about.

Although much like doing fire drills in your own home, nobody does it cause it seems like overkill. Until it's too late.

I lived in Tokyo during the big quake in 2011, and for weeks, our supplies were delayed. You could seriously not find bread, toilet paper, or bottled water anywhere. For weeks, we had daily aftershocks of 6 on the richter scale and up. You can bet that from then on, I had an Earthquake bag (basically the same as a bug-out bag) stashed right by the door from then on. It's a great idea, not crazy at all. I also stocked enough drinking water for one person for two weeks, just in case.

That said, back to coordinates! I got a random spot in the country of Mali, in West Africa. It's not near any of Tagruato's drilling stations, at least not what's on the map.

I actually know a lot of people with bug out bags, or just general emergency preparedness kits - totally a normal thing to do. I know a lot of campers, geocachers, and Girl Scouts {HI!!!} - they are typically excellent at making these kits. Preppers take things one step further, and usually do it with a belief that something specifically is coming to end the world as they know it {government, environment, aliens, etc}.

Trying to make some sense out of these numbers. To me, it seems that there are numbers attached to each of the subliminals except the sailor/pants one. They carefully made sure we saw the numbers they featured in the other pics but the only way you can get 15 for the sailor is by finding the original pic (fig 15) which you cant see in the trailer shot.. Also, the serial number for the survival kit does not resemble the others found of present day examples to compare. They have many digits while we have the 0 12 (or 12th one ever made?).. Very doubtful they could even find a pic of that....
So, somehow, we have to get something from the numbers in the other pics, find the right order and where to insert them to get ??

At least we know, that THEY are playing with us (OMG, I do already sound like a conspiracy theorist). The communication via trailer was awesome back to Super8 times, and they do it again with crowdsourcing. This has a huge PRO being communicative, making people work together on the same clues, to go into cinema (to pay for movie, yes), to open their eyes and to solve the hints collectively!

It has a small CONTRA as well, with codename "non US resident". Back to Super8 it was so cool to take part on such trailer communication camaign since the trailers were available online, everybody could examine them with their tools. Now the non-US residents like me have to wait for witnesses (afaik here in Germany we haven't such trailer flashes).

Oh yes, non-US residents was alway crucial problem... And I fear I screwed up Paramounts once, with my entry to Super8 comic contest :/

I actually threw together a BOB for another ARG, for the book This Book Is Full of Spiders. The scenario was, as if I have to say it, zombie apocalypse.

I probably would've been the first to die. Hehe.

In the last year my wife has really wanted to be more prepared so we've stocked up on canned goods, lots of water, flashlights, toiletries, etc.

-90 longitude going straight through New Orleans is probably a good indicator that's the area of interest.

Also I'm in Spokane, WA, so IF the phone number turns out to be something local I can look into it IRL. But I'm highly doubtful the numbers have anything to do with Spokane and the surrounding area.
