 		Looks like we got an update incoming from MungesKeeper on reddit. Both USBs have the same WAV file of a satellite launch with some interference.

 		So either both USB are needed or they just placed two in case one goes nuts or for a second person

 		"It's almost right on top of us." So, something Howard can monitor up there with the satellites that he sees is "coming" ? Or a chemical or other ( flying beasties!)cloud that he can monitor with the weather data?

 		Most interesting bit from the USB recording: "There was a flash of red light that seemed to come from everywhere. And then it was gone."

Kind of like the blueish white light that seemed to come from everywhere in the Super Bowl trailer? I don't want to jump on the "it's aliens" train yet, but one can't help their mind going to that automatically...

Man: Houston, we're already circling the stage experiment, segment 724, downlink complete.

Woman: Copy ISS, cruise confirmed, download complete, proceed to mission perimeter 14-4.

Man: Confirmed, [radio interface?] online

Woman: Copy

Man: Uh, Houston be advised, [something] is outside expected perimeters. Uh, reinitializing access.

Woman: Copy

Man 1: Reinitialized access resulted in no change in anomalous data. Sending downlink.

Man 2: Downlink confirmed.

Woman: Received. Kronos is analyzing.

Man 2: Looks like a localized burst of magnetic energy. [It's inconsistent?] with uh... anything I've ever seen before.

Woman: [something] this is Cap Com

Man 3: Go ahead Cap Com

Woman: We may have a [off-normal?] situation with AMS 02.

Man 1: Have we heard from Space Com about any [something] in the area?

Woman: Negative.

Man 2: [something]

Man 1: Check with [something]. Find out if they're seeing the same thing we are.

Woman: [something something] failure.

Men: [something]

Man 1: Space Command, this is the flight director of Johnson. You guys testing anything we don't know about?

Men: [something]

Man 1: You guys are sure?

Men: [something]

Man 1: Space Command says they don't have anything up there.

Man 4: We're seeing another burst in the signal.

Man 5: Something really big [something] field.

Woman: Can you get a visual?

Man Yeah, René's looking... yeah Cap Com, René 6 saw somethin–

*[LOUD AUDIO INTERUPTION]

Woman: ISS, what was that? ... ISS do you copy?

Man 1: Yeah, we copy Houston. There was a flash of red light that seemed to come from... um... everywhere... and then it was gone.

Woman: Copy ISS. Everyone ok up there?

Man 1: Yeah, more or less Houston.

Man 6: Tell them to clear it out.

Woman: ISS, [something] would like you to execute procedure 2380A and scrub this from the mission logs.

Man 6: Wipe the signal please. Notify [something something] regard.

Man 1: Confirmed

Edit - possibly a high-altitude nuclear explosion. That would explain the EMP style readings they were getting. The fact that is was "localized" and inconsistent with know data suggests that it is not a man made nuke.

Instantly reminded me of the blueish white light from the Super Bowl trailer.
