I would think so. It is also possible he could become a Proxy and is erased that way. I mean from what I've gathered is that no one remembers the dark days so maybe the physical evidence (things missing from looters and paper work about erased people) is altered or erased.

I do have to admit my current theory on the whole "sun not coming back up" is like...a day when the nightmares come out or something

 		I just spent a good hour pausing a video and taking screenshots so if somebody ninja's me last-second I'm going to probably cry alright

So besides this being a "holy hell" entry I also noticed it's HUGE on exposition. All the notes Valerie looks at aren't even subtle because most of them have freakin' paragraphs on them.

In order:

The 'Hoods' wrote:
"The night has finally come. The day is gone."

"There are no 'looters', child."

"If he removes one that you know, he will erase that person. All that you thought you knew, he will undo once the night has ended."

"He has distorted the sunrise countless times. You have no power to remember, let alone stop him."

"You will have only lost your sanity before accepting the darkness as your true home. But you will."

"Even the moonlight cannot stop the darkness from spreading to your heart."

"There is (peace?) here. We are content with our lives. We serve him."

"He has followed us since childhood. He is engrained in our (minds). We are the only (ones) that remember the endless nights." (Ingrained is spelled wrong and I'm laughing I'm sorry)

"We roam the streets. He roams the homes - the shadows - the minds."

"Blackened skies are beautiful."

"He marks a small few, normally. He marks the world on the dark days."

"Are you afraid of the dark? Yes. You are."

"The creatures (of) this world no longer have to hide. They are free."

"We are also free from solitude. The (world) can (have) [cut off]"

"He is expressionless."

"We're watching you."

"The light is blinding. Close your eyes."

"You will lose all that is close to you. And you won't even realize it happened."

"We are the (marked) ones. Hidden (by) what we now (identify) as. We are Hoods."

"This night may last forever. The sun could never rise again. If he is not appeased, the dark days will never end."

"First the daylight. Then the power. And finally, you."


And then the last three, "He is coming for us." "For you." and "Valerie." This pretty much answered any question I have so far, and other than the fact that this is a Slenderman series and I feel obligated to not believe anything, this has been the most pleasantly straightforward exposition ever. Cool

I see this as more evidence for the "people who die are erased from history" theory.

I'm glad that my initial theory was correct

So this is a regular occurrence...but most never remember.

But...

Who are these "monsters" that are now free to roam

and

how was he appeased?

 		None of these were really on my radar, but watching 15 or so minutes of that unfinished project seems pretty positive. Sounds like he has a lot of ambition and has learned a lot from his past serieses so I'll take a look at whatever is next. Might be interesting.
