Lab that isn't a lab Found this website while perusing labs (for jobs), has a phone number and a weird video. I'm too lazy to get involved (and I'm still trying to help another ARG), anyone else want to take a look?

I think that's just an unrelated coincidence. This Coughlan labs site says a Greg Coughlan is founder, that hearing lab site talks about a Jeff Coughlan.
Also, terraforming isn't remotely real except in Science Fiction. This can only be an ARG or a crazy person. Leaning towards ARG since there's something weird about the audio at the end of the video - there's suspicious screeches that sound familiar. Almost like a modem? Someone who knows more about audio stuff in args would probably know what to do with it.
Also, I doubt a space tech lab would use a free site (which also means if this is an ARG, it's probably on the smaller grassroots side of things). Although it feels a little like an old thing people were maybe supposed to find a long time ago?

It might feel old school (and grassrootsy) but the content is very recent:

my best guess is that this is a school project for either a web design class or a transmedia project for a related major. That doesn't mean we can't play along, just go easy on them for now.

There's terraforming in some digital games/ worlds like Second Life.
The sounds -Maybe some weird Morse Code? If you can figure out how it would be typed here's a translator

I called. Got their voicemail and left a message requesting more information. Left my name, phone number, and email address. Here's hoping they return my call or send me an email.

Text message from Coughlan after calling the number on site Called the number and got a text back saying 'Hello. Unfortunately, all facilities are in lockdown mode. If you are an operative, next drop will be 3/5. Location will be on our website. Thank You' - This definitely gives the pastebin document a little bit more weight. Here's hoping for more spectroanalysis lol.

Not until all 18 drops are picked up and the correct code is entered, according to pastebin that is.

2nd Text from Coughlan Just got a 2nd text from Coughlan saying 'Location Updated Thank You' And now there is a new video on the Coughlan Site.....The video doesn't reveal anything obvious in the spectrogram, so we are gonna need another method. Here is the video link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1V9l6RXMF38&feature=youtu.be

Sounds so familiar... Not quite a dial up modem, but close like.... A fax machine maybe?
