I've searched off and on for it all day after it was posted to reddit earlier because it sounds like a very different trailer than what we've seen so far. No luck. There is a website that has most of the trailers compiled with at least one that I hadn't seen that shows what's in the barrel and more of Michelle running outside. It's the third from last last trailer in the slide

 		What if the barrel is just the fish? Aerated like a fish tank and a bit of algae making it look greenish. The bubbles were everywhere which is more like an aerator than acid dissolving small bits of whatever. We had fish in the SIM, so we should have aquaponics in the movie.

In the third to last trailer, the one with the green bubbles, like Cherry said I caught something in the little snippet of Michelle running past the cars, it looks like something really dark and black makes its way from behind. Thoughts?

 		i'm watching adult swim right now... hoping it comes out again so i can record it...


this is what i remember...


green grass and a bright sunny day... blue skies and everything... an old man with a smile riding a ride on lawnmower... it pans up, and you can see the house and like a tool shed next to it... might be the bunker... not sure... everything is pleasant and cheery... the lawn isn't a perfect lawn... it was all bumpy and looked like it had dead spots, or crab grass... when it zoomed upwards, you can see tire tracks... like, a shape of an ampersand... "&"


then it zoomed back out and down, and it showed the mailbox on the pole, but it wasn't all crummy... it was galvanized steel, in good shape, and said "10 cloverfield lane"... nothing dark, or mysterious about it... i wouldn't have taken a closer look if it didn't have the address on the mailbox... it was crazy strange...

i regret not putting it up on youtube... Sad

At first, I wondered whether it could be a human all bent over, but it looks too large to be human. Hoping for little monsters of some kind!

And this is a great commercial! I hadn't seen it, either.

I'm thinking that it's acid or something, mostly because of the solemness around it, and because we see the aquarium in plenty of shots.

Maybe it is acid of some sort... maybe they have to poop little plastic bags then drop them into the acid to dispose...

or maybe not.

Aquaponics is different, with thriving fish filtering water siphoning from growing plants. He's got gloves on, and pulls the drum - labelled with a hazardous/corrosive sticker - from a dark closet. So it's unlikely to have something fishy in it.

I'd expect it to be acid, but acid's usually not green and bubbly. (It's not related to Slusho, is it?)

And you're right - the door on the car's right is open but as she runs, something dark comes at her from behind the car, and it looks short.

I knew it...! Waaaay back in teh beginning, I told everybody that barrel was 'gonna be bad news'...now some mutant moss-critter is chasing Michelle/Megan/MEW all over Old McStamblers farm!
