Well the world is a nutty, nutty place. Take, for instance, the guy last week who claimed on /r/ to have seen the movie. He laid an entire plot out and then went so far as to fabricate and email to himself a supposed cease and desist from Paramount. Some people are just bat-shit insane.

And, without scrolling through all the trailers - is Megan part of the RL movie? If not, then she (and Denise) can be whatever the hell the ARG wants her to be/not be.

So your theory is that Megan doesn't actually exist and they've both made her up for some reason? Wow. That IS nuts.
Or maybe Megan is the ONLY one who exists and everyone & every THING else is a figment of her imagination
So.... we are all just inside a snowglobe of a hospital?

St. Cloverfield? I like it.
Or maybe it's more Fight Club-ish and Howard is Denise's Tyler Durden?

At some point we're just going to have to answer to Dr. Caligari.

I mean don't get me wrong, it's the ultimate tweeeeest (even if it has its roots decades ago), but it would mean both Denise and Howard are playing us all. And that's so insane to think about! They'd be crazy enough to involve strangers into their game, and going to great lengths to keep the charade.
Heh. You have just described the plot to "Virginia Woolf" although I don't think they're intentionally trying to fool us - it's just the world they've created and we're barging in on it.
Here's a taste.
Well, color me interested... Thanks for that short clip, I'm downloading the movie right now. And even if it's just a theory, a wild guess, even the choice of last name (Paulson) makes me think of Fight Club too and that one character that everyone knows it's imaginary except for the main character, or in this case, Howard. Because maybe they both bought into it at first but the wife snapped and finally decided to "let go of the fantasy" and to try and make him wake up before he keeps fooling people.
Funny though! Most people voted "Alive" in the poll I made http://strawpoll.me/7023340/r, so if she turns out to be imaginary (not even dead), it would be the biggest fuck you to everyone.

If I recall correctly, didn't the casting call ask for an actor to play Megan (well... a picture of Megan). That tells me that Megan is "real", now alive or dead, dunno <shrug>

Fwiw I have a gif started... I was getting annoyed at people continuing to call her "Mrs Stambler" lol but I was also having trouble getting one specific screen shot.

Iirc, it just asked for a brunette in early 20s to take photographs to be used in the movie or something. .

So radiogirl could literally be a girl he talks to on the radio (thinking in his head) and doesn't really exist.
But she can traverse communication mediums, radiowaves, internet, mobile telephony.
If Howard was working on comms, he could have found her in the radiowaves.

At that point wouldn't she be Lawnmower Girl?

Would have to look like Rita Hayworth for the Trifecta.
