Ok I misspoke I admit that, but I wish Phaedra would have responded differently, and I am sorry about some of the things I said I was rather agitated at the time. I dislike it when people know exactly what I said and exactly what I meant, but choose to ignore the meaning and focus instead on minutia (sp?)

Anyways I'm done that is the last you will hear about that.

As far as etruscan pottery/history etc. It is important to gather knowledge about many things including pottery it tells history it shows where we came from and it is important to know where you came from to ensure you do not make the mistakes your forefathers made.

Other than that I am unawares of other real uses for that knowledge. I don't mean to be entirely submissive of pottery, literature, or poetry. It is just 99.9% of the time you don't need or use knowledge of pottery to form an opinion, or complete a task. However this is not true for literature as well as poetry, both can be applicable in many situations and are rather usefull. They just don't light my fire is all.

But then again there are many equations in my head that have little use to any of you when you go about your daily lives. The fact is some forms of specialized information are more usefull than others. Unless you are an archaeologist, then it is their field and they will indeed find more importance in etruscan pottery. The fact is obscure equations of motion can be put into use today to make something scientifically better, but who is to say science is the answer to all of our needs, and maybe etruscan pottery can be used to make some new form of glaze that will make ceramics 10 times stronger than they already are, I don't know. Hell for all I know the meaning of life isn't 42 after all and is instead Etruscan pottery. Every bit of information has a use but since my time is finite and I do wish to have a social life I focus on the things I know have a use for in the field I am in.

I mean seriously what would you rather know "basic math" or "basic auto repair", both are useful but it is obvious that one is much more useful in every day situations while the other is not.

But seriously who would ever think the enemy of mankind is a hippopotamus. It is so obviously creamy peanut butter.

yaaah! I just had an apostrophe (Hook)! What if we took the most vile, sinister peanut butter, and mixed it with children's toys. We would control the future of the world! I have a great name for the new product:
Hungry Hungry Hippopotamus... oh wait! That experiment was deemed a complete failure by ONI.

Oh dear...multiple marriage proposals.

Since I can't decide between you, and polyandry is illegal, alas, I'm going to have to turn down both of you. Sad

And I'm going to have to put in my vote for hippopotami. Razz

Feros, never mind, obviously you still don't get it. Let it drop, cupcake. Twisted Evil

Although I *will* respond to this:

Quote:
B) I figured if I don't make that remark I will get some wise ass remark(from you) about my ability to write. I guess I was wrong. Next time I will say nothing.

I have not mocked the writing ability of anyone on Unfiction; in general I am very careful to respond to what people are saying, not their spelling or grammar. You got mocked because it sounded to me as if you were perversely proud of your inability to write well.

Had you said nothing about it, I would have responded only to the content of your post, not the form.

Anyway, where were we...oh yes...peanut butter.

Talk of marriage always reminds me of this:

!!Obscure reference alert!!

marry me and be my wife
you can have me all your life
our love will never end
parties for our stupid friends
are the children really home?
we will lie upon the lawn
needles on the beach at goa
we will have another flower
we will be a part of structure
you will have a face of structure
we will make ourselves a scene
we will live our stupid dream
i am you and you are me
tie me down i will be free
our love will have no end
flowers for our stupid friends

[edit] Oh yeah, IB4TL

I am an archaeologist. Or at least, that's my fall-back carreer if the whole law thing doesn't work Cool

Oh, and I have to ask this, since we're on the subject of peanut butter...

What does everyone like on their peanut butter sandwiches? Has anyone else ever had Peanut Butter and Pickles? (hamburger dills, not kosher)
