New tweet from Pergamum Project

Quote:
If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite...

which is a quote from:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doors_of_Perception

and originally by William Blake:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Marriage_of_Heaven_and_Hell

Leading to:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://pergamumlibrary.com/blake.html

So thoughts on this image:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
strange that the vowels start at "O". Notably missing are A and U could be a reference to Gold...?

Also in the source why are the letters grouped as 24 characters in one section (same as the number of individual cells in the image then 5 separate lots of the same letters. Plus 6 rows each...not a coincidence

So using the letters provided you get the following Block:

O E I O
E I O E
I O E I
O E I O
E I O E
I O E I

There are no duplicate images and there are always 3, 4 or 5 sticks:

5435
4343
3534
5353
3534
5344

The letters using this would be:

O = 5
E = 4
I = 3

except three images that dont follow this pattern. Image 7, Image 12 and image 24

On a ROLL Russell! Worshippy My only thought is that it's a stock image for baby quilt scraps/bits. (One more cosmic strike against the non-quilting new mom Laughing )

So just a wacky idea... maybe it sows up into one word/phrase such as O_ _ Ex It? ETA: And THX Cherry for correlating all the earlier clues. Cyas...

Right on time with the Vernal Equinox Fool's Children is back with two new tweets

Quote:
I have returned, Dear Ones. Show me your card, here, and I will share my thoughts with you.

Quote:

p.s. You can show any version of your card. It doesn't have to be one you created.

I tweeted a copy of my card as well as a gorgeous card from Ciro Marchetti and received the following response:

Quote:
@CherryWanders In return I will give you a puzzle piece: Literacy Device(s)

Well I understand yours more than I understand mine. Ha!

Collective of card responses from Fool's Children so far. I'll edi as I see new ones:

Literacy Device(s)

Sentence before verdict.

My first question is, why do onions make us cry?

You can get a meaning out of a card but you can't get a card out of a meaning.

In North America, "cat" means "not a skunk."

"Dear Reader, why do the good always die young?"

Too true, Russell Laughing In reply to Winter's tweet that "the good always die young" I asked if the remaining are Old Ev-il. (from blake.html)
Winter replied "Read, write, learn" which is just Cursing Still popped it on PP's twitter feed b/c what's one more chance for a "cagey" reply in this forest.

Catching the Sleepyville train soon & wishing y'all tons-of-luck-and-fun further. ETA: THX again, Cherry, for the clue correlating.

So Winter posted a new tweet:

Quote:
What is your goal? Process vs. Product. Journey vs. Destination. Also, a new path to follow: http://www.foolschildren.com

and there is a new link on the site:

http://www.foolschildren.com/suits.html

Currently only Cups is available and leads to:

Quote:
Water

Every country, every culture, every life is infused with the experience of water, or sometimes lack of water.

Water is deeply symbolic, referenced in mythology, literature, songs, and creation stories.

Water is also present in our contemporary lives. It is not only the key to survival, it is the thread that winds through the meaning of our existence.

Water plays a role in current events: from issues of conservation and development to weather-related disasters.

Container

Creativity

Container links to a poem by John Keats whilst Creativity links to:

http://hidden.foolschildren.com/compassion.html

Quote:
What would you create if you forgave yourself and your heart was filled with compassion?

What would you create if time and place had no meaning?

What would you create if I said begin now?

This then links to a blank page with a hidden message of:

Quote:
write me

Time to get your poetry hats on people!

I have seen elsewhere in this forum that the Pergamum Library logo (blue bird, AOE, etc) has a relation to "Athena." I found a bit more about the logo that I found quite historically interesting, here:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.ferbers.com/blog/the-original-world-currency/ and
http://coinsite.com/greek-athenian-tetradrachm/

What is the next step with the library? We are instructed to

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
knock on the library door

and given a quote from

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Charles Bukowski

What now?

Well we haven't quite solved the meaning behind the alternative method for entering the library yet but this is just one strand.

There is also the unsolved .blake puzzle.
Submitting your artwork and/or poetry to Winter.
Submitting your card on twitter to Winter for a puzzle piece.

Plus there is a new story overnight on foolschildren "Masquerade"

Edit** On the off chance that my mad scribblings spark anything, i have attached an image of what i have been trying and am sure it will turn out to be something much simpler!
