Well, that's it - CL44 is done. Given that Troy now has no collaborators left and is changing gears from running THAC as a full-time job to operating it as a hobby he gets a bit of pay for but isn't held to any particular production schedule, I can't see how any "CL44 2.0" Troy produces could be even slightly as ambitious as the series originally planned. And I wouldn't be surprised if he never gets around to doing more CL44 - consider the following:

- He's said in the past he's less into horror than comedy.
- Standalone comedy videos are way easier than ongoing horror series to produce on an occasional when-I-feel-like-it basis.
- All the hard feelings surrounding CL44 that Troy must have probably aren't doing much for his enthusiasm for the project.
- The CL44 idea has already been contaminated for much of the potential audience by this initial run.

There's loads of really strong factors pushing Troy away from doing more CL44 and not much nudging him to follow through on making more, so far as I can tell.

Troy really did some mean shit to Joseph and Tim, the THAC channel has been so uninteresting to watch after Tim and Joseph's departure and one thing that killed the channel that they weren't sticking to is the "1 video a week" formula that they promised

It's all Troy's fault, i could write a big wall of text of why he is 100% responsible for what happened and i really hate people on the THAC forums being all like "He apologized, therefore it's ok!", these people clearly were never part of a serious project before in their life

Some say that THAC started just with Troy, and i completely disagree with that, but, i gotta love poetic justice when it happens, because now THAC is ending with Troy alone

I wish admins of this site would get their shit right and give TT and EMH their own sub-forums already, they have way more production value than MH ever did and they are the only relevant Slenderseries left

It's great to have everyone's take out there now, and to know what happened. But man, what a fucking bummer. Troy being at best a shitty business owner and bad friend, Tim and Joseph's departure, cancelling CL44, Noah being a shitheel. The whole thing is just depressing. I miss the glory days of MH with 100-page threads within the first week an entry was out, and THAC sketches being occasional little gifts instead of the focal point of their creative output.

But those days are years behind us. Everything has to end, and sometimes it ends with a fucking whimper.

What a bummer.

I havent posted here in what feels like forever.

I don't know if I will ever find myself back on this site after this.
I'll be checking back periodically to check up on TT and that...

I can relate to these guys, I've had close friendships implode like this. All 4 of them must be going through hell.

I hope for the best for them.
I will miss the days of watching and waiting for new entries... Speculating and code breaking with you all.
