Heyo strangers;

I'm brand new to ARGs and I'm really interested in them. I found this one which appears to be active for the most part, and I would like to join the discussion. Does anyone have a collective information document or a summary of the events up to this point?

It isn't as active as it might seem. The Twitter posts regularly but no one has found an explanation or direction for it. We've cited some sources it is pulling from, but it hasn't really gone anywhere.

For past info, you can check out the spreadsheet we've been keeping:

Its not much but I had someone call the number and ask about Finnegans Wake and the twitter, both times they called they heard 3 loud bangs once they asked a question and then they would hang up.

I'm going to go through the most recent tweets and see if I can find how many relate to the writings of James Joyce, and if there is a pattern.

Also, I'm not convinced yet that the references to current events are random.

So, I am totally new to this kind of thing, and I'm probably going to accidentally break forum rules or whatever. Oops. I have only skimmed the forum. TL;DR

So, basically, the Finnegan's Wake references don't seem to begin until April 30, which implies that the person posting on Twitter has either completely changed or is now being assisted. This also happened shortly after the proposed vote about rotating authority. The WhatisTruth person has not posted in a while -- my guess it's because he ascended too high. Lol Wink

I tried calling the phone number and typed in the code; I got patched through, but with no answer after letting it ring several times. I wonder if we are supposed to call on a day in which a Finnegan's Wake quote is posted. They seem to occur at least somewhat randomly, with gaps of no longer than two weeks between, and they are usually pretty obvious from their jibber-jabber words. They are the only tweets that are easily Googlable to find the source in context. I did figure out what the ASOT tweet refers to, however. The "horse and glue" theme keeps coming up -- not sure what that's about. The creators of this are verymuch in to puns and word games... Could be a joke about us beating a dead horse to the point where it's already been processed into glue. Wink

I've been playing around with the Calypso game and definitely figured out a bunch of stuff.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm not sure why you guys weren't able to find Flower in the elevator through gameplay, but rather only through extracting the files (unless I misunderstood what you wrote.) She was there for me immediately when I bought the first ascension package. When you are asked to count, it is in reference to the floors. You have to keep your eyes closed until floor ten, and then you get a money jackpot. You are given a crowbar to get out of the elevator. The same crowbar can be used to open the ventilation shaft on top of the roof so you can drop down into the elevator from above.

When you swap eyes, it seems to affect the commands you are given -- it changes the ascensionism logo... I was able to turn off commands this way by shifting through until there was no part of the symbol on the screen at all. That way, you are able to concentrate on making money rapidly by saving Flower in the elevator over and over again. But it's super boring.

I think the money-gathering part of the game is meant to be a satirical poke at scientology and other corporate schools of enlightenment... you keep upgrading but you never get into the promised land, and the packages get more and more expensive. If there is a way to win, my guess is it has something to do with the map, which looks suspiciously to be composed of a series of those Aztec bar code things. lol. Did you guys really not notice that, or you just like keeping secrets?? Come on now, share the wealth... lol Wink

I still don't understand what you are supposed to use the horse glue on... I assume it must be useful for something since they keep dropping hints about it.

I think you are right, each area definitely looks like one of those barcodes. I'm trying to piece together a map but I'm not too good at photo editing.

I combined all the images from the imgur folder. The water area looks more like QR codes to me than the section there itself, but maybe I need to look at it more.

Facebook page updated today. Just a music post. Also updated their icon though it looks to be a resized variant of what they had.

Anyone else notice kind of strange marks on the bottom left of the new album cover?

I played with it a bit in Photoshop. Just seems to be unevenness in the painting, likely a filter set over the image as it does overlap colors. There are spots of light and dark all over, but it doesn't look to be a distinct pattern. So far none of the album images have had any link to the ARG.
