Well, I'm just glad we can finally move on. Maybe now we've "unlocked" another video or something. Regardless, excellent work, Reesylou!

Well, it looks like we now have the complete works of Paul Lawrence Dunbar with which to work. A commenter on the latest YouTube video linked what Madison said in the hidden video GuestUser17 found to two poems, "Love's Castle," and "The Voice of the Banjo." Which is cool and all, but...doesn't really seem to solve anything? Chloe hinted that that is part of the answer, but apparently there is more to it.

maybe we will get another video that will require the book usage? unless it has something to do with the roman numerals and plate glass thirty?? ... I'm tempted to see if I could buy a copy of the same book...but will see how it all pans out first.

You don't need to buy the book, there is a free version of it on google books. I believe this an exact copy of the one Chloe has. She mentions the page numbers the two poems are on as 124 & 201. In the google version, Love's Castle in on 201 & The Voice of the Banjo is on 124.

I mentioned it in a comment on YouTube but that book has a table of contents that includes the first lines of the poem on pages xxix and xxx (30). The subjects of the poems might match subjects of the pictures in the video. Maybe that would give us page numbers or something. Just throwing out ideas.

There is also a version on Project Gutenberg which has matching page numbers. I'm finding this helpful since you can do a ctrl+f search on the document; pretty handy in this context. Attempting GuestUser's idea right now. I'll edit if I get anything of note.

ETA: Just recalled that the AreaCode .## puzzle hasn't been solved. With Chloe's hints that we need to look at past videos, it makes me wonder whether this book club puzzle could be related.

So looking back at it.... The White House area code (phone) is 202.... did anyone ever work out where the clock tower was? (Can someone please post screen shot of it as I jumped in sort of late so don't know where to hunt for it)

Clock Tower

This is the clock tower I thought you meant Smile BTW - The image in the video is mirrored so I have put the corrected one beneath it. I couldn't figure out where it is though.

In the beginning section the red circles have a yellow square in the middle that flashes in a repeating pattern. Using 1 for on and 0 for off I get 101001011010010010110100101101 that repeats exactly 5 times. Doesn't seem to be binary. Converting to morse with 1 as . and 11 as - I get RERP repeating. Going to look at the circles themselves next.

There are also two codes shown:
WGV=='H/UD/WC;'FWG
LHR SYBWQP FG TSWEX

Here's a list of the Shakespeare Sonnets in the order they're heard in the video. The number in the parenthesis is the line number from each sonnet.

Sonnet 51
From where thou art why should I haste me thence? ( 3 )

Sonnet 52
So is the time that keeps you as my chest ( 9 )

Sonnet 32
O! then vouchsafe me but this loving thought: ( 9 )

Sonnet 48
Within the gentle closure of my breast ( 11 )

Sonnet 56
Makes summer's welcome, thrice more wished, more rare. ( 14 )

Sonnet 32
Reserve them for my love, not for their rhyme ( 7 )

*sonnet 48
Thou best of dearest, and mine only care ( 7 )

Sonnet 50
My grief lies onward, and my joy behind ( 14 )

Sonnet 46
And says in him thy fair appearance lies. ( 8 )

Sonnet 51
Towards thee I'll run, and give him leave to go. ( 14 )

Sonnet 55
You live in this, and dwell in lovers' eyes. ( 14 )

sonnet 53
The one doth shadow of your beauty show ( 10 )

Sonnet 50
His rider lov'd not speed being made from thee. ( 8 )

Sonnet 78
And arts with thy sweet graces graced be ( 12 )

*Edited to correct one of the sonnet numbers

It seems like we have a lot to tackle, and we still have a lot of puzzles yet to solve. I'm going to attempt to compile a Google .doc of all the puzzles that are out there in the ether sometime tonight. I think it might help us focus on certain tasks a little easier. I'll let you all know when it's done.
