Thumbnail With Numbers

I just don't know right now. Anyone got any ideas?

Everything we have so far is:

- "I was there" is the message in the video.
- hidden message in the thumbnail is (I'm like 99% sure) hinting at those specific videos from Stan since they show up in the video itself

Things I still can't figure out:
- Why the focus is on stan's hand in the clips
- What video lineman wants us to paste into google images(?)
- WHAT THE HELL THIS EVEN IS

I'm no good at codes & such, so I'll try an idea instead. Those videos it's referencing, what happens in each of them? Are those videos where Stan confronts Slender Man? I ask because a couple vids ago Stan told us that Lines is somehow helping SM to get at him. Is this a hint that Lines and Slender Man have been working together longer that Stan thinks?

Looked them over briefly (looked at thumbnails & titles to remind myself what happened). As far as I can see, 3, 5 and 7 are the odd ones out. Maybe. In 8, 12, and 15, we know Lines was present. 3, 5, and 7 not so much. rewatching for further examination.

Maybe we have to look at the thumbnails of those numbered videos?

EDIT: I downloaded the thumbnails for videos 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, and 15.

As you could have probably guessed, I got nothing out of this. PLEASE someone good at this take it from here?

I can't figure out how to post a link anymore, but according to Stan's Twitter, the monster is not impressed with our lack of progress.

I feel oddly proud that I was the first to reply and sass it back.

Each thumbnail seems to have some text hidden in it

so far we have 7, which has text hidden on the house near the tree: "no more lies"

then in 3 there's "new arrival"

You can use the "Google Image Search" that was linked in the description of "s e v e n t e e n" to find high quality versions of the thumbnails.

EDIT: I FIGURED IT OUT

These are all the titles of videos that were from the We Must Collect channel, the proxy channel from the original Stan Frderick series.


The channel that was run by Connor.

Ah, so the hidden video having numbers in its thumbnail was a clue that there was text hidden in the thumbnails of a few of the other videos. And I can't believe lines is Connor! Though it makes sense why he would be helping Slenderman get back into Stan's mind. Good old fashioned revenge.

Well, fuck. I started watching this because OOG Stan himself said we not only didn't need to watch the original series to understand this one, he preferred we didn't. What am I supposed to do now?

Hmm, good point. I mean, I haven't watched his old series so as far as I'm concerned Connor is just a dude from the time Stan was previously stalked by Slenderman. Barring new info I think that's how we're supposed to take it.

And one more note to cap off the hunt: the unlisted video was titled "s e v e n t e e n" because it actually was the seventeenth video posted to the channel. No significance there, just a statement of the obvious.

Also, for those interested, can someone provide linkage to the We Must Collect channel?
