Nice solve on the sonnets enaxor!

If the Old Zoo doesn't work out, there's this at 34°08'02.375"N 118°19'17.7"W

https://goo.gl/gZFZ0A which combined with "Actor Robert Redford is a Hollywood legend" may work out to something?

I'm at a utter loss as to what to do with all the unsolved bits Sad

Edit for correction.

Places to investigate

I figured out the code that Pathological Lyre posted in the latest video. The symbols are mathematical constants as follows:

G 6.67384
σ 5.670373
R 8.3144621
g 9.80665
M☉ 1.9891
M🜨 5.9736
k 1.38064852
c 299 792 458
π 3.14159265358
ε(0) = 8.85418781762

Using the number under each of the symbols gives the position of the digit to use. As an example π1 would give 3 and π2 would give 1, etc.

This ends up giving us the following four coordinates:

33 45 54.1 N 84 20 12.5 W
41 55 41.6 N 87 42 12.7 W
40 50 57.9 N 73 49 50.0 W
36 53 59.8 S 174 46 59.2 E

I put them into Google Maps and came up with these locations:

Candler Park, Atlanta - https://goo.gl/maps/Rk8sXbpeAoB2
Logan Square, Chicago - https://goo.gl/maps/63vzMY2ZYJU2
Near Mercy College, Bronx, New York - https://goo.gl/maps/9ub2Yx5HeP92
One Tree Hill, Auckland - https://goo.gl/maps/Le4iNhzoCJR2

Chloe assumes that we are supposed to help and look for clues at these locations. I didn't see anything at Candler Park but will try again tomorrow when I have more time to look around.

Is anyone else available to check the other locations?

Very nice solve GuestUser17!!! Sadly, I'm near Portland, Oregon, hopefully others are near the other locations and can check them out.

Thanks booba. Smile

If needed, I have co-workers near all those locations. It wouldn't be the first time I've called on my peers to go explore for unknown artifacts. Smile

Dang GU-17, nice work!

I would love to go on a field trip, but I'm far far away from any of your locations. Good luck on recruiting some field agents!

GU-17 has posted this from a USB he recovered.

".IG BR.T.E. .. A.W.Y. W.T...N.. .Y ..O...IE.. U.E D..A. S.N. I"

He filled in the first part as BIG BROTHER IS ALWAYS WATCHING

Not so easy on the second part

MY GLORIFIERS USE DECAF, SANDI

doesn't seem to fit Smile

EDIT To Add:
Another try:

IF YOU OBEY I ENSURE DELAY, SANDI

Another USB drive found in Auckland

A second USB drive was recovered at the One Tree Hill location. The lady that posted the video said it contained the following:
B?? B??T??R ?? A??A?? W??C??N?? M? ?P??O??E?? U?? D??A? ?O?? I

Combining that with the phrase I found in Atlanta you get:
BIG BROTHER IS ALWAYS WATCHING MY (?PO?O?IE??) USE DREAM SONG I

Dream Song I is a poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar and appears in the book that Chloe found. Chloe confirmed the message and said the missing word was APOLOGIES but it looks like there was one letter added Smile

The way he is apologizing makes it sound like we should be using the poem to decipher something we already have but I'm not sure what that could be. We have the red rings that have not meant anything yet and the grid of letters. I tried converting the grid to ASCII and using those numbers on the letters and words in the poem but it made no sense. Finally I sent this message to Jess's phone number:
27 10 18 89 83 44 39 68 17 105 123 115 120 14 3 20 30 100 70 69 128 119 25
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It says CAN YOU HELP US FIND MADISON

I didn't expect a reply but received the following:
30 10 89 64 68 69 98 70 6 7 20 21 120 102 39 6 101 27 10 42 95 39 30 32 82 39 43 63 4 103
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
MAYBE IM DEAD IF THEY CATCH ME THOUGH

I'll continue the attempts to get info and keep you posted.

Working on Museum puzzle

I posted the following as a comment to Chloe's Museum of Death video:

Quote:
I had a few minutes to look back into this puzzle so bear with me as I explain what I'm trying to do. The difference between the formula on the puzzle page and the actual Schrodinger equation referenced is (h/2) or possibly ℏ, depending on which way you want to look at it. h is Planck's constant which is not as constant as say Pi as it is calculated based on the mass of an atom which is continuously being more accurately measured. ℏ (h-bar) is related to Planck's constant and is obtained by dividing h by 2 times Pi so again is not really a constant but goes by the name Dirac's constant. Since either of these are possible I am going to have to try both of them to solve the puzzle. I am going to use the value of h=6.626070040(81)×10−34 from Wikipedia/NIST. There is also h=6.62606957x10-34 from the document that Chloe referenced for the other "blue sky" puzzle but there are not enough digits for what I am trying to do. IF (yes, big IF) this links to a YouTube video then there are 11 characters required in the video ID and as we have 11 rows I am assuming that each digit of the constant (or constant/2) will point to a character in one of those rows. For example the 1st character would be 'B' as it is the 6th character in the 1st row. Coincidentally (maybe) each row has 10 characters which would map to the numbers 0-9 or maybe 1-(1)0 depending how you want to look at it. That could make the first character possibly a 'g' if the first character is considered 0. So the two codes using just h are BDR72sekU4l and gA-qb6tmEPU. The two codes with (h/2) are 4TD6219kb4j and tBRWbt9mjPg. The two codes with ℏ are WMbWystvq4F and one that contains @ which makes it invalid. I've tried all of these as YouTube videos and it didn't work so I'm going to see if I can find another value for h that might work.

In return I received another coded text message that said "Close. h and h-bar vary too much. What is missing from the formula?"

I'm looking for ideas as to what might be missing?

And just as I finished typing this I realized Pi was missing. If you use 3.14159265358 you can decipher the grid to be:

Great job on sussing out the Pi connection GU17!

Pathological Lyre has posted his last video to rescue the long suffering Madison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85fNQcDWouA
At :35 there are numbers that are a letter count into Dream Song 1 http://www.poetryexplorer.net/poem.php?id=10025610

The first few words are

Here is a transcription of the numbers. If you look at the different colored frames you can switch between them to get all the numbers.

Code:
42 16 127 6 31 9 15 32 112 34 18 27
71 5 105 82 14 2 3 15 13 12 42 2 4 12
30 J 1 14 99 Q 35 71 62 28 18 64 67 J
122 3 99 8 22 9 86 35 127 30 92 44 62
20 84 J 41 J 15 6 84 14 17 1 J 9 70 J
8 62 1 23 64 35 14 26 70 78 31 86 92
30 35 15 122 6 86 92 99 28 65 16 J 20
J 1 7 99 44 Q 15 9 95 14 23 129 92 64
30 9 6 84 17 58 13 35 127 4 71 14 1
64 86 15 86 Q 20 64 122 123 37 41 45
51 10 9 92 112 64 13 J 58 105 X 51 22
8 27 2 Q 16 129 120 37 86 70 5 21 7

Using the poem as the guide you can convert the numbers to:

t h r e e s t e p e n c
r y p t i o n t w o t o g o

m J l i m Q l r s l n b m J
s n m r s s k l r m f u s

m s e m i w w l r g r i l
b k t k Q d b s u v d c
w a s f p b w J w p X w s
r c o Q h d f v k d y i a

If you reverse the audio of the video there is a section that repeats the poem from one of the previous videos.

The tone changes for the words "the black dog" and sure enough that is the key for the second part that is a substitution cipher.

Continuing with the decode you get:

I'm guessing the 3rd decode is a Vigenere cipher based on the double letter start of the phrase but my attempts at keys have been unsuccessful so far. If someone wants to try things, I like the Rumkin site here to decprypt Vigeneres - http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/vigenere.php

Or perhaps a http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/otp.php with a line from one of the poems as a key?
