Abyssian Knights Anime-Movie-Comic-ARG-Game-Thing A KickStarter was created for something called Abyssian Knights, which is an upcoming anime/comic film. AbyssianKnights.com was found.
In the Introduction section, there is an image of a paper with mirrored hex code. The code translates to aby551an.xyz.
Clicking on "available" brings you to /level1/index.php. Using the image as a hint, change level1 to level2.
Gen. 1:3 talks about "let there be light." Brightening the image shows "/InGodWeTrust."
On this page, we have an image of the AK logo made of text, and a quote from Einstein. The alt for the image is "CAESER." This is as far as I've gotten. Any help?

Sorry, I'm really intrigued by this puzzle trail so far, but I'm a little at a lost as to what "doubling up" means or how you found the quoted text. I'd love to know what your process was so I could help move the puzzle forward. Thanks!

The CAESAR page translates to ""THE FRENCH REVOLUTION WAS KEY IN THE SUCCESS OF OUR FOREFATHERS" when Caesar shifted up 13 characters. I don't know if it's relevant, but shifting it up 66, as the arrow behind the picture suggests, gives you "Sgd eqdmbg qdunktshnm vzr jdx hm sgd rtbbdrr ne ntq enqdezsgdqr". Sure enough,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
aby551an.xyz/FrenchRevolution
takes you to the page with the text aforementioned.

After InGodWeTrust, the alt is "CAESAR" so go to /CAESAR.
Obviously it's a caesar shift. It says, "The FrenchRevolution was key in the success of our forefathers."
Going to /FrenchRevolution, this is where we're stuck.

Compare your translation closely to the original (spellcheck gets it) Also capitalization counts.
EDIT:
Oops, was explained whilst I was typing.

Seems vigenere (ish) http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/vigenere.php
"hello" is not capitalized
Ends in the number 64
Has no alt name
I've tried the usual stuff, nothing. Anyone see anything else?

I know I just joined this site but, hear me out a minute. It's a Cesarean shift

Unless of course I'm being dumb, since I'm new. Edit: I guess I was in the right track, just a little too slow.

Definitely not Base-64 because all letters. Unless brightening it shows the numbers... hold on I'll be back.

Tried Vigenere with both "hello" and "bonjour" as the key, and got nothing as a result. Tried doing a ROT-66 AFTER and BEFORE the fact and also failed there. Thought I'd cross off a couple of options.

Thank you!
I think it is something to do with the USA to be honest. Judging from the logo sitting on the great seal.
Also, the "In God we Trust" found in a previous page was first implemented in coins in 1864 . Might be something, might be nothing.

Playing with the colors, there may be writing in the upper right of the seal?
Could be "alo" which is Vietnamese for "hello"????
Or it could be just a smudge......

I think it may just be a smudge, but smart idea on reversing the colors! I've tried a lot of Vigenere keys at this point, but I don't think this is Vigenere. It almost looks like a cryptogram, but it's not quite coming together for me.

If we assume that the message is plaintext which has been encrypted (I.e. the message will come out to words of the same length as they are in the cryptogram), then I don't think it can be a substitution like a Vigenere. There are 3-letter words which appear five times, and none of them share the same combination of letters (which you would expect with a Vigenere or a Polybius cipher if it were words like "the" etc, although I guess they could all be different). I tried using the "hello" keyword as a one-time pad by repeating it above the message, and th same with "Annuit coeptis", which didn't work.
