I forgot to give you fair warning -- NaNoWriMo is starting up again!

When we started this thread, the site had ways to form private groups. That feature no longer exists, but they did expand the size of the buddy list. Let's partner up!

(Camp NaNo in August was very good to me, meaning that I fear that this November is going to be terrible for me, just as it has been for the past 3 years.)

National Novel Writing Month

This is your advance warning: National Novel Writing Month begins in ten days! Their 2013 theme is retro 8-bit gaming, and they reorganized the site navigation (again), but the basics are the same.
Quote:
"More than 80 percent of people say they want to write a book, but less than one percent do."

Be part of the One Percent! Join NaNoWriMo and start writing! (well, start planning and outlining now, write later)

Re: National Novel Writing Month

Remember when we did that thing? Some of us started way back in 2006 and a few of us keep coming back.

The NaNoWriMo site has been updated in anticipation of November 1st. October is for (totally optional) planning and prepping.

Is anyone thinking of giving it a try this year?
