 		They claim that the five hours they have to level 7 people have been taken away from level 6 people, meaning they take their deadlines seriously...

 		So the new quote makes it clear that Level 6 will be an audio clue. Does anyone have any good resources for audio decoding? I'm clueless with that stuff.

Audacity is a good free cross-platform program, and I think it should suffice. (Edit: it does indeed suffice).

I haven't registered because I'm still kind of reluctant to give all that information, and still thinking about the descriptions, but I have gotten to the register page and have the registration code(if you click "submit" the page tells you if you got it wrong, even if you didn't fill out everything). The puzzle is pretty doable, specially if you're familiar with ARGs(unless there's some patch and I haven't actually solved it, but I don't think so).

Also, good news for the people who didn't get level 7. At this point I'm convinced that it was solvable, even if nobody here got it. It's also good to know that the people behind this answer stuff on Twitter.

They said they will be releasing the solution themselves so I'll leave it up to them, I wouldn't want to jeopardize my membership.

This Level Six puzzle has been easy so far, just struggling on the last part.

 		Welp, so now I'm level 6. Apparently they are going to give us more challenges through the site(either for everyone, for certain levels, or individually) and may contact us too. Funnily enough, the first challenge is:

What information can you find out about us? What details about this website can you find that we may not want you to know? Many ways exist to investigate a website and the people behind it.

CHALLENGE RULES:

If you find any website vulnerabilities, you must keep that information confidential and immediately report it to us. Releasing information about website vulnerabilities will result in your account being permanently suspended.
Remember our rule about ethics. You are looking for information about us, you are not looking for information about other members.
Contacting us and asking is not an acceptable method. Do not waste your time or ours.
Collaboration regarding research methods is allowed and encouraged. This is a chance show your willingness to share your knowledge with others.

Even if you find nothing (and let us judge what is "nothing"), complete the Challenge Report and describe in detail the procedures you tried and any tools you used. You will still receive credit.


Collaboration is encouraged for this one, so feel free to take a crack at it(which you would have done anyway). I'll report if I find out something.

Collaboration is NOT allowed for the registrations: I was talking specifically about the "Investigate Us" challenge(and maybe even posting that was too much). If you don't make it to this level and get to a lower one, you will be eventually be "trained" and will be able to go up. That model works better if the solutions aren't posted, even after the level 6 registrations are up, so you have the opportunity to solve the same puzzle later. Just look harder and you'll find what you're looking for.

 		Well, this is really humbling. I was sore at first for not being able to figure anything out. Now I understand that solving these puzzles require skills I just don't have.

My spouse was able to figure it all out easily. Only problem is my spouse couldn't care less about these kind of games, while I'm really into them. Spouse gave me the solutions but I won't be registering since I didn't earn it. Just have to wait to get to a level I can handle.
