There's a new Twitter challenge!

... and I have absolutely no idea how to attack it.

Well well well, the plot thickens!

Three new tweets that show that the new video was actually not supposed to be uploaded! Together with the fact that the people that made an error on the level four puzzle will be "punished appropiately", I am starting to suspect that there may be something darker going on than just a series of challenges! Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but maybe this means they are going to introduce more ARGish elements into the game.

They mention TWO unauthorized videos instead of one: does anyone know what that's about? I have seen the "You Have Nothing To Worry About" one, is there another one? Or was the version of that video that was made public actually different? I thought about downloading it and comparing it with the private one carefully to look for secret messages, but I thought I'd do it later and now both have been deleted.

Went to post my solution to Gold Bug challenge and home page reads:

In the process of "investigating us," we have been contacted by a few members who have been seeking information about us in ways that are far beyond any reasonable scope of investigation, including one or two who we believe have caused and then reported issues with our website in the hopes of finding out more information. Many of these attempts were blatantly obvious (despite what those involved may believe) and through various uses of "barium meal tests" we have been able to confirm many of our suspicions.

In addition, and very much more importantly, we have become aware of multiple situations in which attempts to discover who may or may not be one of our "PM"s has escalated from simple questioning to outright and in some cases illegal stalking involving their homes, families, and workplaces.

For now, we are taking our website offline and will not be participating in Twitter conversations until such time as we wish to make additional announcements. We regret that the actions of a very small number of people has forced us to make a decision that will affect the vast majority of you who have expressed enjoyment and appreciation for what we are trying to accomplish. When and if we reactivate our website again, those attempting to register for Level 4 will be given another chance to do so.

We have many exciting things planned for the future. If those who are participating under false pretenses (including creating multiple accounts) and/or are harassing other members will cease those activities and contact us at our email address so we can suspend their accounts, we will resume our activities. Anyone who is legitimately enjoying this experience who knows who these people are, we encourage you to report them to us or pressure them to request suspension of their accounts. We do not plan to resume our activities until we feel we can provide an environment where all of our members are here to have fun, to learn, and, most importantly, where they will feel safe.

This is not "lore." This is not part of any "plot" you may think we are releasing as part of any "game." This is 100% real.

We hope those of you who are attempting to ruin this experience for the other members (and have now done so) receive this message clearly."

what's really disappointing about this is that it shows how $%#&*!@ interesting everyone found the game. including me. some people just don't know when to stop.
