Yeah, at circut, no one is allowed to leave the store all day, even for lunch. They buy lunch for everyone, but they make you eat it in shifts too, to maximize the number of people on the floor. They also buy dinner. It was a very hard day to work as i recall.

So what did you do at work today? oh nothing much, just stuff for halo multiplayer. lol

That's nothing. Try explaining why you are getting twenty five calls every thirty minutes on your cell phone and you are continually calling yourself angelo and handing out passwords.

I really think some of my co-workers believe I run a drug cartel as a side job...

Lol. Well, my acupuncturist thinks I need to do some pot, destress, so if there's anything you want to share with us...

You stressed, I'd never believe it...

Yeah, that's exactly the way it worked for us. They tried to spin it like "our management is so great they're buying lunch for us". No one bought that line Very Happy

Sat is a very expensive form of broadband. It has some great UL/DL speeds, but seriously... $600. I would suggest you call your cable company, and see if they offer high speed internet.

Your phone company is going to offer you DSL if it is available in your area, and although it is a good form of broadband, Cable is faster, and they cost about the same.

I've heard a lot of bad things about satellite for online gaming. Lots of lag/latency problems.

And the cable/DSL speed thing is a misnomer as well. It used to be that way, but no longer. We have both (we don't pay for either Twisted Evil ). Dane games on the cable, I game on the DSL. On cable we get 2 Mbps download and 384 kbps upload. On DSL we get 3 Mbps download and 756 kbps upload. The upload speed is important for hosting games. We could never host with the cable, but don't have any problems with DSL. If we were paying for it, it would cost $45/month for cable and $35/month for DSL.

And some general tips:

-Facing the Ghost from behind, to the left, behind the left wing is an alien gas tank shaped like a circle. It's only on the left side. Shoot it 3 times with pistol or 1 time with the shotgun and say good bye to it.

-The two tanks in Halo 2 have different weak spots (and strong points). The human Scorpion tank has a turret that is almost invincible; it's naturally vulnerable in the body and the four tread motors (which count against its hull integrity). The alien Covenant Wraith has a very strong glacis (the front armored bulge where the pilot is). Consequently, it has a very weak rear. Rockets affect both tanks as if the weakest facing is used, meaning two shots will knock out any tank.

-Jumping around a lot makes it hard for you to get hit, never stand still, even when you are sniping, you never know if someone else is trying to shoot you. However if you are being sniped, jumping slows you down and someone who is very good at sniping could pick you off as you land.

-With rocket launchers shoot at your opponent's feet, the splash damage should kill them, if they are by a wall or rock shoot that. Jump to avoid the splash damage when you are shot at.

Today, we were playing on Live...

Suddenly, and seemingly for no reason, I died...

Then I look to the upper left of my screen and I see;

Quote:

You have been betrayed by weephun

And I really wished I could take a screenshot...

Very Happy

I'd be more than happy to help out with the training. I haven't played with most of you all,as I'm usually doing clan matches, so I can't say how I'd compare with you guys. But if you got a spot open feel free to send me a tell. Actually, if I'm on and if anyone wants to practice or anything, I'll be happy to help out.

Actually, I think it's very funny. I don't ever take it badly. In fact, I trash talk myself in the lobby far more than you all ever do. Everyone is so exceedingly nice. I love how Rendon makes it a point to apologize when he's killed me. So do so many of you! It's very sweet. Wink

Well, that's kinda the point... we're the enemies that will kill you, apologise, help you stand up so we can kill you again. Wink It's the optimal way to learn by doing, and not get your hopes smashed into the ground by some clueless kid who only says "You got pwned!!one11" when you die.

I was playing some free for all slayer yesterday and I found another good way to quick kill oponents. I got killed several times and then I decided to try and it works pretty good.

Just dual wield a plasma pistol and keep it charged by holding the trigger. This charged shot will remove the shield from your target in one shot and you can easily kill him with the other weapon you're holding. Even a SMG kills very fast when you don't have shields ...

The only problem is that charging shots is a quick way to drain the battery from the plasma pistols but you can certainly kill some people with a single plasma pistol.

To be honest, I'm somewhat scared that this may unbalance the game somewhat ...
