New arg with an old original video game

There is the link to the playlist. I've never posted, only lurked but I found this on the marble hornets subreddit and don't see anything on it here. So far, the story seems to be just presenting background but has been going steady for the last few weeks. It seems to focus around a guy who has gone missing and his obsession with a video game.

There are other puzzle elements like symbols and pictures which don't match anything I have seen before, and I have no experience in decoding stuff like this. Thought this was a good place for it.

Did some searching for this on the Marble Hornets subreddit and found nothing from within the same time frame. It's possible they discovered it more than a month prior to posting here, but I cast my net within the last two months.

 		I'm a little confused by everything that's presented...

From what I've seen, it seems like it has everything to do with Chip, the AI in the game, and some kind of physical entity of it that can interact with the world.

Chip also seems to understand the concept of 'no perfect system' and wants to continue to improve. The more Simon plays, the more Chip can affect him maybe?

I don't know...
