I'm new to UF. I signed up to follow this story, but I'm new to ARGs in general. It looks like 616 has been captured. Guess we just wait to hear more from SOG?

New tweet from Spectacular Organic's account. ALSO, there's a tweet from 00616, on a new twitter account, @GMWIII. He says:

first time posting on unfiction so let me know if im doing this wrong, but i havent seen replies talking about the new yt channel. in their 00616 HAS ARRIVED video, theres a frame of binary near 0:27 when translated yields an unlisted video from rarerfood (anagram of order of ra)

theres also a new video from specorgcorp detailing that 00616 provided funds to "renovate their network" (getting them a new website, www.specorgcorp.com) and that his stay has been extended for 90 days, making him product developer

By "provided funds" do you think they emptied his accounts and sold off his possessions?

Yeah, I mean that's what it sounds like, but how much money could they even get off a college student? and what's with the week late update telling us he's going to be there another 90 day. I checked out the source code of their new webpage but didn't find anything.... Confused

Well, in the NoSleep short story, gwhitehurst does mention that he sold the company to these very people. They could have just been recouping their losses from the initial sale by kidnapping him, which is actually pretty crazy to consider. They've taken over his Twitter, depleted his funds, and flipped his own story on him in a twisted 'real-life' plot.

Some people complain about this series because it's not interactive enough strictly as an ARG, but this is a series that's evolving into quite a strong narrative. The direction it's taken is unlike anything I've seen, and I'm personally a big fan! Curious to see where they take it from here.
