because everyone is always raving "the best slenderman!" though i've only been able to see him once. is he spotted on arkhamhorror?

though that metal clanging is very effective, i hope it comes into play a lot more

Nostalgia brought me back to this, sadly it didn't bring back the creators :p It's unfortunate that the hipster fashion style has caught up to their wardrobe. I think it would be hard for me to take them seriously had they started this series today lol

So Marissa posted on her twitter earlier this week. https://twitter.com/tulpaeffect/status/707283730818138112

I replied to the tweet and she, in turn, ask me to pm her. Since I have been expecting a package from her for awhile now, I figured it was regarding this or OOG stuff.

Anywho, she sent me links to two private videos on her channel. She said she meant to mail these awhile back. I won't post the links just yet because she implied that she will post them on her channel eventually, but I can if need be. I sort of want to see if something happens today first? I'll give a brief overview of both videos, though.

The first video(Message in a Bottle) is addressed to, I presume, myself and the other person who was supposed to get a package from her. She starts off saying she's mailed us a package(Since I think this was filmed awhile ago, I don't know if I should still be expecting a package?) She's no longer in Delaware. She's in New Orleans now. She found one of those wooden statues in front of her father's house in Delaware, so she ran.
She thinks she's being stalked by an actual person now(I get the feeling she's implying someone other than Slendy). She's seeking protection. But she's sending us the footage of why she ran from California(second video)

The second video(Why I ran) starts off in a car with her new(?) camera. Her friend(who I can't remember his name, I need to rewatch the series again) is driving. They talk about the camera as she plays with it. Next scene is a fun split screen of her talking to Roger on the phone. They talk about his work, her camera, and then she proposes they test it out that night at the lake.
Then it cuts to the two of them at the lake(? We've seen this place before, I think) They walk and talk. A lot like they've done in past videos. At some point, she's walking backwards while filming and talking to him(he's behind her as well). When she turns around, Slendy is behind Roger. She screams, they run. Then there's running footage interplayed with distortion.
They run for a bit and up some stairs. They're both out of breath. She turns the camera to him. He says they think they lost it, that they're fine. As he says that, she looks up and the shadow behind Roger isn't his. It's Slendy. It almost looks like he puts his hand on Roger's head/shoulder. It's tough to tell because Marissa screams and runs again. More running footage with distortion. And then it ends.


And that's what I've got. Hopefully, we'll get something today.

I find it refreshing to hear her answer yes that she does need help and does need to talk. Really refreshing when most series revolve around anti-social characters that predictably always turn down help or interaction (fear of gamejacking probably had a big hand in this). I loved the video. It answered a few questions, and it pears into where Marissa is psychologically and emotionally. Numb and paranoid, yet fighting to stay logical and grounded in reality.
