[UPDATE] New Email from Regenesis

i just got this here it goes:
Quote:
ReGenesis Extended Reality Update

The ReGenesis Extended Reality can be explored in many different ways. Users so far have unearthed hidden websites, emailed characters, listened to private voicemail on the phone and even encountered clues in real life and through direct snail mail. It is important to remember that information is not always in plain sight.

This update is important for those who have registered late in the series, or who may have missed clues vital to progress through the story. It is not too late to be a part of the story and this summary should help as a quick catch-up.

WARNING: Some of the information below will spoil earlier gameplay. If you would like to participate without help, please do not read further.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Before the series

The North American Biotechnology Advisory Commission emerges as the primary resource for biotechnology research & analysis. Caroline Morrison and David Sandstrom are asked to lead a diverse team of scientists into the 21st century as biotechnology, bioweaponry and nanotechnology become commonplace in our lives. At the same moment, a renegade website known as ScienceSucks.com who believe that science has been corrupted by governments and multinationals loses their entire collection of information online. An undisclosed 'third party' uses political connections to wipe the slate clean, and users there have a feeling it is because they know too much.

For each television episode there is an online episode, which is release the moment the television episode ends. All of the events from the series have affected the situation online, which reacts and updates with new information throughout the week. Synopses of the television episodes are found online at the ReGenesis fan site.

Interactive Episode 1 & 2 - Baby Bomb

After patient zero was identified as the infant Miranda and quarantined within Hazmat City, her mother Daisy Markovic was interrogated to understand the nature of the virus, a chimaera of Ebola and Camelpox. She explained that Miranda's father was William Zanzinger which led NorBAC to uncover his false passport and expose his true identity as Martin Jamison. The outbreak caused the team of users at ScienceSucks to rally behind the investigation. Registering for their discussion board, users learned that one of the moderators Ivan had a secret plan he wanted to discuss. By decoding a series of puzzles, users found his personal website "What they're NOT telling you about the Miranda Virus".

Ivan lays out the facts as he see them. NorBAC should not be so confident that they have contained the virus until they have found the man behind it and brought him to justice. Actions speak louder than words, so Ivan recruits members to his team with an online quiz. Members of ScienceSucks who pass the quiz are allowed access to a private section of the discussion group, where the hunt for Jamison begins.

Once inside Ivan's forum, users were joined by a team member who had a lot to offer. This team member was called LabMole and wrote a weblog with information that seemed to be coming from inside NorBAC. The team was quickly realizing that they had a chance to find out more than just the official story from the NorBAC press releases.

Interactive Episode 3 - The Face of God

Everyone is shocked by the sudden death of Hira Khan, the lead virologist at NorBAC headquarters. A man attending the Second Coming rally outside NorBAC shot both David Sandstrom and Hira. David survived the attack only to be confronted by a barrage of phone messages from the leader of the Second Coming, Reverend Walsh, denying their involvement in the assassination. The Second Coming project is taking steps to clone Jesus Christ and wanted NorBAC's help in confirming their work. Their motives for the attack are unclear while the shooter remains uncooperative in police custody. The man possesses no identification and seems completely incoherent. The only lead for NorBAC is the investigation of observant users, who discover a photo of the Reverend and the shooter, naming him in the caption as Jacob Malley.

Users who send this crucial information (the name of the unknown shooter) to the NorBAC tipline are commended for their research and offered a personalized code as Field Agents.

Interactive Episode 4 - Prions

One of the active users of the ScienceSucks discussion board, Agent Ock appears after this episode with a startling discovery. It seems that after Hira's death, ordinary security protocol was overlooked when disposing of Hira's personal documents. The contents of her desk are scooped up and shredded, but they are left in the NorBAC dumpster where Agent Ock collects them and posts them online. They include an email intercepted from Hira's brother requesting brucellosis samples for terrorist attacks, a personal letter from her brother warning her of an attempt on her life, a letter from Hira and a memo from Weston that points to a real life location - a pick up for Jacob Malley.

Driving over to the location, a user claimed he was picking up a package for Jacob and was handed a dossier. Inside was a picture frame with multiple photos from Hira's personal life inside. Along with the photos was a single page description of Hira Khan, complete with details on her daily movements and instructions to feign insanity if caught engaging the target. The package explained that you should await further instructions from a lawyer codenamed 'Albatross'. Passing this information on to NorBAC via the tipline is the second method users were able to earn Field Agent status.

To be continued...

Of course, this is not where the story ends - it continues online each day at the websites listed here, through phone calls and packages and future surprises. Every week a walkthrough of the previous episode is posted as a PDF document here. In the ReGenesis Extended Reality, you decide how far to push forward in the game and collaborate with others online.

Only you know the whole story.
