woohoo! jumping on the bandwagon REALLY late, did we decide that the SPDRninjas is the group we're going with?

and i'll be on as soon as microsoft gives me my name back! (i got rid of my account over the summer because UF didn't support live, now they do, but microsoft won't give me back my gamer tag, so i'm trying to see if i can get darkmoonz back... the customer service department doesn't deal with the gamer tags, and the department that does... well, apparently no one can talk to them...) (:

Wow, training went pretty well... After seeing how it worked with 15 people I definitely think we're going to need to make the 'classes' smaller. I'm also going to base it a lot more on skill level...

I'm really dissapointed though. We had three CTF scrimages. The first two I just sat by and watched. The last I jumped in because one of the teams was struggling. We were at a dead standstill for longer then I'd like to admit. Every three minutes we would switch from offense to defense and back again. Finally I ended the game and we looked over our stats.

I'm not a big bragger. I don't talk trash during games or after. Most likely you'll hear me congratulating the guy that had a beautiful shot gun blast to my face... but this was the game that would of made even me brag.

96 kills - closest was 45
78 medals - closest I don't even know

Granted my team didn't win, it was 2 flag captures to 1, but my stats were gourgous...

Little did I know that Bungies master piece didn't record the stats of a game that was ended. Crying or Very sad

Bard, you're going to have to think of a good one to get me out of this depression.

On a plus side I did get to play with an awesome new zelander (sp?)

Shortening our lives, in short measure.

In those strange climates, MCO angelo, under the Halo, roiling.

.....

Good times, a post- clan match game tonight....

Funniest event in Halo2 ever....
3 team Crazy King.
I'm blue, I sneak up on a reddie firing a turret at the opposing side on Foundation...
I walk right up behind him and say:
"You know whats funny? How your thighs vibrate while you fire that thing..."
He jumps off and i shoot him to death... laughing hysterically at the same time.

oh boy, 2 person team games are fun....

Very Happy

That's why angelo was sad - he ended the game early, and so it did not capture stats. Sad

If only he'd been wearing a Queen Helene Mint Julep Facial Mask. I can't help but think that, somehow, the situation could have been salvaged... Very Happy

It was pretty fun! I was having a very good time on the beginning with the rocket launcher and taking down any opposing vehicle. But then, the blue team started to make runs for the rocket launcher and I had very heated ghost battles for it! Still fun!

Weephun, sorry for unloading a full SMG/Pistol clip on you when you come from the bottom of the base! But when you're shooting it's hard to see which color you are ... Sad

Angelo, I'll apologize for my guest sniping you when you were only watching! He asked me if you were playing or not and I wasn't sure ... Laughing

I think the only negative for the night was the lag! It was pretty bad! I would fire a rocket and it would take 10 seconds to explode! I saw a ghost shooting at an empty space and I was WTF?!, then suddenly I'm teleported to the spot he was shooting ... Laughing

Sorry I dropped out of training early last night. I don't have a headset, and I couldn't figure out how to get your voices to come through the speakers.

I went back to open matches. After countless* humiliating deaths, I retired for the night with a rating of 3. Personally, I think 3 is too generous, and it will soon be adjusted down to reflect my true ability.

* OK, I'm sure Bungie is counting them in my stats

Clayfoot, we noticed you were not hearing. I don't think you can hear if you don't have a headset. Not even output to the speakers. If you're gonna stick around, a headset is a must! Not for ranked games, but for games with beekeepers ...

Really? ROBOGriff says I could have found a way to output voice through the standard speakers, if I had just looked for it in the menu. Anyway, as many of you know, ROBOGriff won a prize pack in Chicago. So, when he gets his shiny new Plantronics headset, he has generously offered to turn his old headset over to me.
