I have to be honest here. I started read what you wrote then started reading through the quote looking for spelling errors or a gramatical mistake (both of which I tend to fall victim to reqularly) and when I got to the last line I was caught completely by surprize.

For a second or two I thought 'Did I actually write that...'. Wow, I can be slow at times... Wink

on the topic of headsets

I have an extra adapter bit - the part that plugs into the controller. You are on your own for the actual headset unless I talk my wife into letting me buy the Plantronics Halo 2 headset Wink If someone is in need, PM me and I'll be happy to send it to you for the cost of shipping (via paypal).

I'm not really into the whole trash talk to rile up your enemy thing...

I'd much rather just play a good game and have fun doing it, then try to tick off my opponents, but maybe that's just cause I only play with friends...

Though, I do rather enjoy running around Krystyn while saying "I'm right behind you!" continually...

Yeah, not really into trashtalking the other team, but yelling out things that make the laugh or or say "what in the?!?!?" and confuse them sounds entertaining to me, random monty python quotes would work Wink

I am all for a "Stupid Spartin Tricks" training session

Yeah, the trashtalking is annoying. (And I speak sagely, having played one non-beekeeper game.) But still...

Funny quotes, bizarre antics, and general high-entertainment value stuff, on the other hand, is all good.

I couldn't agree more. I absolutely love some of the quacky sayings you guys come up with in game... Wink

Nicely done. You get at least 5 points for that one. Very Happy

(best strongbad voice)
You get at least no points for that one!

I love that idea too, but I think I know how to make it a real challenge. If all the 'pins' were to stand close together it'd make it easy for everyone to make a strike. Instead, we should space them out just short of the full length of a warthog when turned sideways. Then to get a strike you'd have to be able to use the hand brake and tail slide into the pins...

haha I can just picture 15 people standing nicely like a choir, waiting to be run over, and at the last second spartan #12 inconspicuously bashes the guy in front of him to his death, and pretends nothing happened... then everyone dies... Razz

Ok, so all this talk of crazy fun has made me decide I must play tonight...

Anyone interested in some spartan bowling or constructing a leaning tower of troy send me a message tonight on live. I will create an invite only game so we won't be rudely interupted by a swarm of green spartans... Wink

It depends on what time you're planning to do this. But if I'm online, send me an invite and I'll join.

Wouldn't it be a leaning tower of Sparta?

A giggling mass of dorks, if we do it right!

That's what I loved about angelo's pre-training thing, which he let me sit in on. We went to this one point in the Ivory Tower (my OLD fave spot to pick people off), and just stood around talking, and every now and then we'd jump and stand on people's heads and then just continue talking, all normal-like.
