UPDATE - Ewan's LiveJournal June 8

Sunday, June 8th, 2003
12:47 am I have a code. I'm going to test it out tonight. Open rails, here I come.

It seems that Ewan got the 10 digit code the Oracle gave one of us... Will it work? Will he escape from the evil clutches of Dr. Morrie? Tune in later! Very Happy

I raced a train last night, and I won. It felt so good to stretch my legs again.

Many thanks to Ms. Reed, who apparently had to consult an oracle of all things in order to get the code to Klepsydra's electronic locks. Even armed with the code, it took some finesse to escape the Klep. It was the most fun I've had in ages.

Already I can feel my head clearing as the drugs seep out of my system. I actually had to pass through the medication locker at one point on my way out, so I filled my pockets with drugs of various sorts, figuring that I may be able to barter them for food in the hobo jungles and work camps.

So I snuck out of the ward, across the yard, flew over the fence, and as soon as my feet hit freedom on the other side I started running. I swear, I must have run for miles through the woods. Eventually I came to train tracks and began to follow them.

Some after, I heard a train approaching from behind me. We were out in the middle of nowhere, so I knew there was almost no possibility that it would stop; my only chance was to run along-side it and grab hold of the railing of a grain car or the handle of a boxcar. It's a dangerous, foolish thing to attempt but I was desperate to get as far away from the asylum as quickly as possible. As it barrelled past me I managed to match its speed just long enough to grab a hold of a rear railing to a grain car and pull myself up onto the small platform on the back.

I got off in what appears to be a small industrial town. I won't stay here long. I'm heading south.

Maybe Muninn is "with him" in some sense?

Also, he "flew over the fence" ? Is he still part-raven (Hugin) ?

I'll go ask him why "we"...
