HIPS

Came up with this while writing a post in the Urban Hunt forums a couple of minutes ago.

We have KISS which stands for Keep It Simple, Stupid.

Likewise HIPS, stands for Hidden In Plain Sight - just where we always miss it! Very Happy

Heh, just like the feat in D&D/NWN, although that's used for Hide (rather than Hidden) in Plain Sight. Embarassed I think my geek is showing. Embarassed

Embarassed (Insert geek here) Embarassed
It's a special ability not a feat

You're allowed to kill me for correcting you.

Actually Its a skill/ability handeled as a feat.

the book wrote:
Type of Feat: Class

Prerequisite: Shadowdancer 1

Specifics: The character is able to use the Hide skill even while being observed. Note that this ability will not always be successful in the frenzy of combat, but disengaging from an enemy before attempting to Hide in Plain Sight will succeed.

Use: Automatic

Twisted Evil

*late reply* Ah. Never played any 'real' DnD to the point of/in an edition featuring HiPS. I got my info from NWN on that one.
