It seems to be only the US site version and as expected:

ELIGIBILITY. The Game is open only to residents of the continental United States (the "Territory"), excluding Alaska and Hawaii, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Which is totally fine, cuz we don't buy televisions here in Canada......at least ones made by SHARP......at least not anymore

US registrants

while I thank sharp for narrowing the field, I am not really planning on winning a TV anyway. I think it is a shame they set up this great site with several languages ( has any other "game" attempted that?) and then limit the people that can play.

As far as viral marketing goes, I think it may be better to stick to a truer "game" without a major prize then to do this. I know that many people played ilovebees even after they knew they weren't getting a free advance copy of the game. sorry, I seem to have wandered off into meta territory here.

my only point is that it doesn't seem the smartest plan to intentionally tease people with the idea they might be able to win something when it is known from the outset that they are not eligable to enter the contest.

Don't forget, The Beast and ILoveBees were both run by corporations, and I'm pretty sure that most people would consider at least one or the other quite successful....

Yea, and those worked great, you're right. I was probably just ticked because i worked on the ARG then it said you had to be 18 to register. Oh well, I lied. I'll still follow it.
