You still have the spoofed "Melissa" number on your cel phone... But you have somehow lost your "flight of the bumblebee" ringtone that you used to identify her calls...
And you're thinking about re downloading it... Just in case.
You make an off hand comment while out with your friends how strangely attuned you are now to Pay Phones, and when they reply that they haven't noticed any, you list off the location of every payphone you have passed since you left home that evening.

From a little while ago -
*cell phone rings, typical payphone ring tone (yeah, I only got to one payphone, and that was on the 24th, but I still spaz out when I hear it!)*
Me: Nhyaug! Must... Not... Grab... Cell... Phone! *run off*

Aything remotely related to ILB catches your eye and winds up your SPEC motor.
For example, has the SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX moved on and assummed another identity after destroying the Pious Flea?

I do that alot now, too. That, and creepy, and when it makes sense, curious symmetry.

You instinctively rush to pick up the phone at the airline desk while you're waiting for your flight...
...because it sounds just like the first payphone I ever answered, on Mill & 4th to unlock alt_burgundy
I MISS BEES. A LOT. *whines*

Phaedra - Evil, evil ideas! Thank you! I look forwards to the next telemarketer call I get...
Well, just because I love you...
Wait, how do I attach files again? I was going to supply the super-duper telemarketer-scare-off mp3 I edited together.

Oh NO ! But I'm proud of it! It combines changeling-child, building-a-voice, and the best (read scariest: "Access violation!" "This medium is licensed to defend itself. Make your decisions accordingly!" and so on) of chapter 11 or 12 or whatever it is and I want to *share* so we can start a trend!

Okay, Phaedra's Super-Duper Telemarketer Deterrent .mp3 is here .
And the short version that won't, you know, prompt them to call 911.

That sounds a lot like Nightmare Tony's soundscape ILB Theme.
I just usually make dirty sounds when telemarketers call. Simple, straightforward, nothing complicated about it. Of course, you can always use the Arnold Schwarzenegger sounds that ebaumsworld has set up.

Well, yes, but I'm trying to make them curious as well as scared. Add a little mystery to their lives. And of course, keep the beekeeper spirit alive.
