hiyas! I was an ILB lurker mainly because I caught on pretty late. I saw all the amazing things that was going on, and wished I had taken the plunge, but I guess I was a bit apprehensive because the community seemed soo closely knit, and felt remarkably like that kid in 3rd grade who moves into the neighborhood near the end of the school year when the kickball teams have already been established. Anyways, consider this my bellyflop into the rabbit hole Very Happy

hi

Just thought I would pop in and introduce myself.

I've been around here since the Metacortechs days, mainly lurking and following wild geese in Acheron, AWARE and ILB. As Metacortechs reloaded has just finished, I'm currently looking for somewhere else to lurk, and this looks like a good place!

I saw the pregame for PPC, but never actually got involved. Might as well start now!

So, will catch up the best I can, and await the start, and answer phones in the leicestershire area Smile

Hi I'm new to all of this as well.

I think firebox has a lot to answer for. I will most prob be a lurker as my problem solving skills are not all that, but this looks like it could be entertaining.

Well, while we're all sharing; I'm Seej. Caught up with Bees after it was done, then saw the article in last Saturday's Times (UK) Magazine and googled my way here. Spent the last few days reading up on everything. I'm looking forward to this when it finally kicks off.

BTW, if anyone wants a copy of everything that currently seems to be on the perplexcity.com site (including directory structure) then I've put a copy up on my site. Of course, you might want to play through the pre-game yourself and this would spoil it a bit, but if you're not bothered about that:

Hey there figured I would say Hi, I'm new to ARG's but I've been lurking around here for about a week, I'm still a bit confused even after reading the guide, I suspect I'll catch up when the game actually starts, it looks like the pre-game was a blast.

<edit> oh yeah, just a quick (and heavily OT) p.s.
googling for 'cube' images (as a result of the ebay advert) it became apparent that the desk that the picture on the front of the PS primer on tranzed looks like one that would have a mac 'cube' on it, from the base of the screen, check this pic out for an example: http://www.atpm.com/6.08/macworld-gallery/images/macs-cube-with-cinema.jpg

Yet another noob. I became hooked without even realising WHAT I was becoming addicted to - for a while I was merely stumbling around in the dark until I found the primer & here.
But I am thoroughly intrigued and I cannot wait for it to start - lets hope I manage to keep up Wink
