You cad. Wink

Yeah, I've been bitten by a relapse of my City of Heroes bug, so I have shamefully neglected to play with my beloved Beekeepers... I plan to make a triumphant return Wednesday, though, so look out!

Just played THE longest game yet (look to top right at "Game Length") :

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?panel=stats&gameid=23376282&player=Deviant%20SPDR

My eyes are shot, my nerves are fried, and my thumbs are calloused...all in all a good night.

Wow, I didn't realize that game lasted that long. Check out the names of the people that some of us played in a matchmade game.
http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=23443300&player=Dasro%20Kast

We were compelled to comment on their gamertags after the game, and were forced to lay some verbal smackdown. Much hilarity ensued, and probably isn't appropriate for print. I don't think they were as amused...
All I have to say is

Krystyn: "You guys paid money for those gamertags" and

and

Our Team: "Wait for it, shhh, he's going to say bitches"

Wow.

the things people do and the way they act behind the anonymity of the internet is sadder than a pack of grunts fighting over the last food nipple.

I got to play a few really fun matches last night. Sorry about buggering out on that assault match in collossus. I had a friend over and needed to get some stuff done.

I also feel the need to apologize for the assault match on Colossus. My wife decided to give her first try yesterday. She was my guest and I had my mic muted most of the time, since I was trying to orient her a little. I have to play a lot more with her, so she gets used with the controlers and everything. I was surprised how bad it was for me to play split-screen again! I was used to play split-screen but yesterday, don't know why, I felt a little lost with just half the screen ...

I'm going to post this here, since I'm not sure where else to put it:

Thank you everyone who emailed or PM'd me to wish me luck on the LSAT, or afterward to find out how it went.

It went okay...I don't want to jinx myself, but I didn't feel too badly afterward (although I *did* feel rather homicidal, since they sat me next to a boy who made snorting and smacking noises for the entire five hours...a certain amount of brainpower that could have been applied to logic puzzles was tied up with wondering if I could kill SmackBoy (or at least seriously wound him) with my mechanical pencil).

But thanks for your concern. I will be on Live much more frequently now...especially since in the time I didn't play, I dropped from a 4 to a 1. Did a massively long campaign marathon last night to remember how to walk.

Hehe. I noticed that! You need a headset now! BTW, can you hear us through TV speakers? I wasn't sure about this ...

Heh, the headset isn't the problem -- the Communicator is.

Yes, I can hear you through the TV speakers unless you have it so only your team members can hear you.

Oh, and despite a long game (I left after like 72 minutes) of Bumper Cars, I still haven't been able to use a tank to flip over another tank. Has anyone managed it? Also, if I'm on Live tonight, can someone show me what you're all talking about with "sword jumps"?

I'll probably be there after 6:00-6:30pm. I can show you on Headlong and show you some cool places that you can only reach with this trick. I'm not a master at it, but I can do it after some tries. Just have to be patient!

Oh goody -- I probably won't be on until around 9:00, but yes, if you could show me that would be wonderful!

That's okay -- I got pretty monofocused. Sorry for not responding.

In unrelated news -- people who have the Halo 2 soundtrack: does it have the music played while the Covvie ship jumps inside the city and Miranda Keyes follows it out on it?

Phaedra: I'm gonna go play the level right now to find out Smile

Can't recall off the top of my head what music is playing at that part.
