Wow..Thinn didn't do too bad in this game

You think he would have been better if he had Monster Anne with him?

Maybe next time he's on we can pick a level and play "Hide and kill Kinkle". Everyone has to group in a corner and count to 60, during that time Kinkle has to run and hide. After that initial 60 seconds if he gets killed he has to find a new spot while everyone is out and about.

Oooh, I hope I can get in on something with him. *Eclipse mashes a fist into his hand.

apparently there is also a "Thin Kinkle" who is a member of The Beekeepers clan according to bungie.net. Has only ever played 1 game with any of us though, and no games at all recently.

And eclipse, that sounds like the greatest game type ever.

Ops. You're right. I'll be online around 6:00-6:30pm eastern time.

I'll pop on tonight around 9ish EST, as my TV hasn't browned out after giving it a run (on campaign) last night. Fingers crossed...

-- Steve probably should play some with Clan HBO too, as it's been even longer since he played them too. *sigh* Who said that playing video games wasn't a social activity?

Man, I was soooooo awful on this game! I'm usually not bad at sword games, but everything that could go wrong, went wrong! Fenwicked saved the day for the blue team! Cool

All I remember about Gilligan2032 is that he/she doesn't post here, but used to be on IRC. I'm positive I don't know him/her, since I used IRC like 2-3 times at most!

I was on IRC all the darn time, and never remember seeing a Gilligan handle, really. They must have a different name there.

*shakes fist*

On a completely different note:

After overhearing Krystyn ( I think it was you) talk about all the cool features of DDR (Dance Dance Revolution to the uninitiated) on Xbox, I got one for my girlfriend. It came with a 2-month free Xbox Live free trial card, but since I've already got one, and if there's anyone out there who hasn't already, it is available to anyone who has yet to open a Live account

Omg..DDR is hilarious. My friends mom bought one for herself..the whole family uses it. She challenges my friend to DDR.

We borrowed it for a birthday party...It's great when you have a few drinks and you really get into it. Kinda like Karaoke, you can do it sober, but it's way more fun with a buzz Laughing

Allow me to pitch StepMania, an open source project for the PC that plays all of the DDR material, plus lots more. I have it running on my PC with a PlayStation dance pad connected through the adapter. It works and plays great!

It was Krystyn. I remember seeing her online playing DDR2 once.

I thought about getting this to my wife. She swears she'll use it, but I'm concerned she'll play for a couple of hours and that's it ... Considering I'd have to buy a dance mat, I don't know if it's worth it!

That would work! I'd have to use it on my htpc through my tv, since it's so much bigger than my comp monitor. hmmmm

Oh geez, yeah, if anyone else wants a two month free trial, I have a TON of them lying around here from games I've bought. Haven't ever played DDR, but I can't imagine me playing it to be a pretty sight. I have played Karaoke Revolution, though. That's fun.

I played CirrusStrafe online at DDR on Live ... he totally beat me, and he's much, much better than I could ever hope to be, but I did beat him at his favorite song, Castles in the Sky.

Haha! I win! Sigh.

DDR. I love it, but I'm so playing it in the privacy of my own home, man.

Let me know if you (or anyone else) gets this set up. I have a ton of material for StepMania downloaded off of BitTorrent already. Of course, as with any good open source project, you can always add your own music and dance steps.

Sounds good. Do you know anything about setting custom resolutions for this game in particular? Depending on the game it's a pain to get a game to work properly on hdtv's.
