[SPEC/UNRELATED?] Anyone else get a weird unsolicited email?

I just got an email from EnquiriesSPLATwebsure.co.uk with the title automated response

This is weird for the following reasons:
1. The email is completely blank - it contains absolutely nothing at all, not even blank spaces.
2. I've never even been to http://www.websure.co.uk before and I certainly haven't sent them any emails.

Taking a look at the site it looks like the home of an old web design company. It's got an under reconstruction notice, a contact email address that matches the address on the email I received, a counter that doesn't seem to work and not much else. It's last update is dated 22/10/00 and a whois check says the domain was registered 08-Mar-1999 so this could well be nothing (and I apologise profusely for wasting your time if it is) but I thought the unusual nature of the email made it at least worth mentioning here while we wait for things to really kick off.

I took a look at the source and didn't spot anything unusual (aside from the unnecessarily complicated way they've gone about creating a pretty basic page) but maybe someone more experienced might spot something.

Again, apologies if this is just a wild goose chase.

Please people, try to think a little.

I get hundreds of spam emails every day, in a large variety of formats, and I've never signed up for anything from any of them. That's the reason it's spam.

The fact that it's blank doesn't mean anything. It's not exactly hard to send a blank email. And it may not even have come from websure.co.uk, it's also easy to forge a sending address.

It may sound like I'm being a little harsh here, and I can understand everyone may be very excited to get started, but if we let these things pass by everyone will be doing it and the forum would get into a real mess of completely unrelated topics. Just think through what you're posting and why/if there's any relation to the game at all.
