student license software- very inexpensive

Academic software from NUBS Computer Center
e-mail: nubscc[at]aol
Order:(800) 231- 6987

I recently took a very basic webpage design course. The school gave us a brochure from NUBS which offers incredibly inexpensive software. Lots of programs are available. I would call or email to get the information from them.

Because the software license is a student license, as long as you don't use it for commercial purposes, you can use the software for pretty much anything, i.e. games.

But to order you have to fax an official school ID. Note that my simple registration form from my course is sufficient to qualify as a school ID-- it doesn't have to be a formal college or university program.

An example: for $195 (American) you can get a Studio MX 2004 Bundle that includes Dreamweaver MX 2004, Flash MX 2004, Fireworks MX 2004, Freehand MX and Cold Fusion Developer 6.1 Edition. If you add an additional $50 you can upgrade to Flash Professional MX 2004.

These are the full programs, not demos.

The best way to reach them seems to be email or phone. I didn't find a website addy. I know that we have lots of students here, maybe some of them will be interested in this.
