 		[OT] Completely absurd commercial I just saw tonight.
Wait! Seriously, this is vaguely ILB-relevant, I swear!

Go to www.spdr.com . I saw a commercial for it on tv just a few hours ago, and before I began foaming at the mouth, I had just enough time to garble something to the effect of !evade. Then I passed out.

Why is it that things like this are now and forever going to make my eyes boggle, my stomach turn upside-down, and my heart race as my brain tries to remember where and when I last saw a payphone?

 		Another thing - listen to the radio ad for dentine ice commercials.

I swear, the voice actress for the new one is Sophie's! I can't see anyone else doing it! Has the exact same laugh, too!

Well, I live in B.F.E., otherwise known as Knoxville. Our commercials come about four months late.

Remember the Ford commercials where the country singer says "I'm a Ford truck man, that's all I drive"? Comedian Lewis Black came to our town back in the summer, and mentioned those commercials. They only began airing on our stations two weeks ago.

I think the actor who played Kamal has done a series of voice overs for recent Dell TV commercials.

 		When I played Super Mario 64 DS for the first time (yippee!) I coulda sworn Princess Peach's new voice sounded just like Cortana.

Naw, I thought. That's just me being silly. Remember when people where thinking that the voice actor and model of everybody in ILB plus Mr. Shebura was Jen Taylor?

Then I saw the credits for Super Mario 64 DS, and what did I find, but...

Jen Taylor is among the voice actors!

Which really makes me want to say, "Mario, I've baked a cake for you, but first you'll have to commandeer that Yoshi on the other side of the hill in order to enter the castle where Bowser is. Watch out for Goombas; you may need your pasta cannon."

 		Yeah, you probably saw it Cherry, but Jen Taylor has done Peach before for a couple other Nintendo games too. Pretty cool, EHH???

In fact, he demonstrated that voice for us on the ILB teleconference a while back. Cool
