Writer's Residencies in Tasmania, Australia

Hi guys

Kicking myself that I didn't think to post this here earlier. The organisation I work for (The Tasmanian Writers' Centre) is offering writer's residencies in Tasmania to international writers in 2005.

It's very competitive, but there's no application fee if you're living outside of Oz, so it's very much worth a shot. If you're selected your airfare & accomodation is paid for, you receive an allowance towards living expenses and have the opportunity to present a workshop, which is also paid for.

The bad news is APPLICATIONS CLOSE TUE 30 NOVEMBER (i.e. next week!). The good news is applications can be emailed (to the address below)

Check out the Writers' Centre website for application form (http://www.tasmanianwriters.org/island_of_residencies.htm). If you've got any questions email me at: admin at tasmanianwriters dot org I'll keep an eye on that account over the weekend.

Good luck!

Well, crap.
I just finished writing a screenplay, and I've got some killer short stories.
And today is the first day of the rest of my life, also known as December 2.

Yeah, but you should read this screenplay. There's zombies and Shaolin warriors ... and pirates! Sodding pirates! And that's just Act 1!
