Welcome fabs.
No, I didn't know about that t-shirt.
At first sight, though, it seems a legit off-game piece.
Compare the page for the t-shirt to the page for the cube on firebox...
..unless anyone tried to order the t-shirt and got rejected as it happened for the cube...

It certainly is a real t-shirt, and you'll see me wearing it at any Syzygy real world events there may be Wink

ok, well time for me to pipe up... I started with ILB, heavily, and heard all the rumour and fuss about syzygy, but never really paid it due attention... just got caught up now (not much really to get caught up on unless I'm missing something), but it looks like the puzzles so far were pretty good... so, I'll check in every so often, waiting for the 'game' to start. Dunno if I can invest as much time in syzygy as I did ILB though Razz

just a PS for fun, I'm sure it's trout - but did anyone figure that "Perplex City" seems to be derived form "perplexity"? just thought was interesting, but I'm sure someone else noticed that long ago... Smile

The Latin text on the Seal

Hey everyone, I too am a newbie, to the whole genre. Hopefully I won't be a dead weight as I have access to our firm's mapping and number crunching systems. That's if things get that heavy!
Not to flog a dead horse, and hopefully this isn't classed as repeating but the latin translates as "Seeking the origins/beginnings of wisdom".
The words can be found in Ecclesiastus 1:16 and 7:4, but I don't think it's related. (May be wrong though).
I'm running a scan to see if the folder extension numbers can be transformed mathmatically in any way (by Fourier, Laplace etc), and also to check they're not co-ordinates. Give me a yell if you've tried it already!

Thanks
Serial

Ooh, I wouldn't be saying 1:16, I mean, then people'll be all set up for 26th January Wink Which would be a terrible date (for me! Razz)

Um, yes, well, obviously someone (I suspect a Syzygy PM) has exchanged my number 1 key for a number 2. It must be a kl00!

Or you know Embarassed

Been following the Cube for over a month, just haven't introduced myself. Veteran of the Bees. Lt. Col aboard the Apocalypso for life. Best of luck to all of us.

Most of what thebruce said here applies to me as well (I know, I'm too lazy to think of my own stuff) - I started with ILB and when that finished I wandered over here to watch and join in when everything starts. So yeah, hi.
