OT ? Nov 23

Laughing
I certainly can't see how this would be in-game,
but snooping for Syzygy and November 23 (the date on the postcard) I stumbled upon:

http://www.gameblogs.org/view_blog.php?bid=75
which lead me to
http://www.semioclast.com/
which lead me to
http://atrios.blogspot.com/2004/11/oops-someone-left-barn-door-open.html
Shocked
which *indeed* was posted on Nov 23 Smile

Ha ! we now know who is behind Syzygy !

And FWIW, I bet when we do finally crack this it turns out to be something pretty much useless (such as a link to perplexcity.com). Or maybe it means nothing at all and they're just messing with us....

Or another errorlog....errorlogs have been our only source into the Academy atm

has anyone considered that the 484848 might be a parallel in some way for the 'www' of the url? everything else seems to point to dead ends - either the url to the site, or describing what we already know... like the binary lights 'helloworld' referencing the semacode website to decode the grid which makes www.perplexcity.com, the PCPS likely meaning Perplex City Postal Service, the maze, well, <shrug>...

I dunno, it doesn't seem that we're decoding anything that gets us off the postcard... I think the # under the semacode will just turn out to be another loop of some kind

Good to see that there have been more postcard sightings... they are very much spread over the world it seems!

I'm traveling through Schiphol Amsterdam Airport on friday, so I'm gonna check it out just to see if I can find any 'souvenirs' Smile

Tomorrow, my father goes to the airport. Unfortunately, I can't go with him, but he's going to bo looking around, and I'll try some coffee chains here.

Question: Could the number be stegged?

Magnifying the number 2210 shows irregular pixels.
Is it possible that it's stegged?

Correct me if I'm wrong but stegged images are actually the image files, and since this is a physical object, I doubt it. That may just be the product of scanning it in.
