I have to agree. The whole point of this board is to get together to share information on this sort of game. If someone does want to figure it out on their own...well, that's what spoiler tags are for.

I must confess, I'm a bit annoyed too. I was one of the main-posters during the 'forest'-phase and am completely stuck....for I live in Germany, the time-shift has it, that I could talk to OV only 2 or 3 times up to now and mostly late at night and though I can communicate with customers or understand my php-manuals, when it comes down to some (maybe even America-related, political, ethical or religious) word-play I really rely on this forum.

So, no offense, but an "I did it and won't give any hint"-style post makes me mad. Then I'd prefer no post at all.

Hey guys, let's all chill for sec.

The reason for these forums is so that players/investigators can meet together and share information. Logically, if you do not want to share information, you really don't need to be posting.

In the case of New2This, I would say that he is defeating the purpose of unfiction. If you're not going to contribute to the team and to the cause then there is no reason you should be here.

If you still feel like shouldn't share this information you've happened upon, even with the use of spoiler tags, you should at least give an elaborate explanation as to why you wish not to share information.

If this whole thing is going to cause problems, I will contact a mod and leave it up to him moderate the problem. I have contacted SpaceBass and he has sent out the call for mods for this forum, so they're watching. Please, lets keep the attitude level down and work on the reason why we're here in the first place: www.thematrixisreal.com

To all concerned,
Before this gets into a flaming forum of hell we should come together on this. New2This...I'm sure greedo is sorry for calling you an a-hole...he was probably just frustrated like all of us because it seems to be a very challenging puzzle. With that being said there are some guidlines posted around here somewhere www.unfiction.com/dev/tutorial/ that suggest a code of play. I realize it is not neccessary to follow those guidelines and I understand one does not technically have to share new information (congrats on figuring it out though). However, in the interest of keeping things civil around here and not chasing people away to a more flame retardant forum, it would be greatly appreciated to receive the slightess of a hint to figure out this recent puzzle. Thank you.
